We're good ta :) Rhys still doesn't say any proper words either - seems I say "mummy" enough for the both of us! We last saw his general consultant in August and she noted it but wasn't "too fussed" (her words!). Not sure if we've been forgotten about or if they're just giving us a break but we haven't had many development type appointments for quite a while. I'm not worried, he is making a noticeable effort with "vocalising" but just slow to come out with a complete word. Only time he's quiet is when he's asleep (like right now ;)).

We have the first physio app in a month planned for Tuesday but I think I'm going to cancel it. I've got a funeral to go to on Wednesday so have to switch my work days around so might be working on Tuesday ;) He's not walking, which is ultimately what she wants to see, so save her the effort of coming out to sigh at me and give me a lecture! :p

Good for DS1! Just hopes he finds someone much nicer next time :D

And how are you doing? Do you still have the childminder? Still doing you good? Hope so xx :)

Oscar is very quiet but I still think he is to young for them to be able to help with anything speech wise? I read to him loads and sing and obviously chat and repeat a word loads but he is just not interested.
J from surestart still comes in 2 mornings and just yesterday CM had approval for 2 full days funding, I don't know if I want this on a regular 2 day a week basis but also it is good to have it when I am ill which is to often at the moment. So basically he now has lots of interaction with other babies his ''girlfriend'' is 18 months old, there is lots of hand holding:rotfl:. Sorry spelling is worse than normal meds are making my brain sluggish if that is the right way to put it.

Caz glad you managed to get a few hours sleep it deffinatly makes a lot of difference. xx

Hey guys, I haven't been on all day as some sort of weird power surge this morning made our internet router just die completely! So we should have a new one by Tuesday or Wednesday :(. Don't know what I'm going to do with myself tomorrow. :p

Sorry I've been MIA :o Thanks to Elle for the texts and Aless & Gill for your posts. I was lurking but got all muckfuddled with the new Thread!

I'm super busy, work is mad and home life is even madder! J is still not sleeping through! He had his jabs last week so is even worse than usual at the mo! He is an absolute pleasure though - hard work but has spent the whole day giving me kisses. He is so funny and his fave thing at the mo is running up to his bean bag, turning around plopping down on it and throwing himself back and proper chilling!! :rotfl:Aw and when I ask him if he's ready for bed he walks to the stairgate and points up stairs! Super cute :A

I went for that job interview which went super well and have been shortlisted to spend an hour with the current manager and meet some of the staff on the 2nd and have been asked to keep the evenings of the 9th and 11th free for interview with a 9 person panel!!!

I'll try my hardest to keep up for a bit but at the moment any spare time is spent trying to keep on top of the house!

    Hope everyone is OK

But obviously this may not be convenient for all, so we're happy to go into London propper if someone knows a good place to play? Anytome before 16 November is good :).

Hello!! Are you going somewhere nice??

I'm good ta, just tired but I'm used to functioning on not much sleep.
Actually, to be honest I'm better than good. I'm feeling fab in myself!

Sounds like you had a good day Bruno at the Baby show, I fancy going to one of those, we were guna go to the NEC one in May but didn't, even with discounted tickets, food and parking bumped up the cost, but £15 parking!! We are in a recession you kno! LOL.

OH has gone to work.. and T cried for ages after he left; think it was combination of dirty nappy, slight hunger and tiredness. So I changed him, fed him and put him next to me on sofa to sleep, then he filled his nappy again so I changed him again and now he is snoring next to me :D

Sis phoned saying she is coming over.. she always wakes T so I think if she does today (took ages to get him to sleep) I may just scream at her... and probably run off and leave her with the baby!

I feel like spending some money.. that I havent got!

Sorry, had to go and have a good cry:o. We are fine ty, Oscar has been referred for speech therapy (i thought it was to early, i think it was weezl-Fergie who had said an rough age for what they should be able to manage?)I think as he is so late with his eating this is why he has comunication problems. He can still only say mum to everything.
DS1 is in a much better place at the moment and has jumped feet first back into the dating scene:eek:.

    How are you and rhys?
hi we were told the health visitors are looking for 8 words at the 18 month review. At 15 months another health visitor expressed a concern, so I rang SALT, who said he sounded delayed, but now they are quite happy.
