I have a slow cooked chicken that I cooked yesterday - any ideas what I can do with it? I don't really fancy a chicken dinner :o

I would agree. Thomas sleeps loads when he's got a cold...plus if she's asleep then she's not suffering so I'd leave her to it :)

The only time I would wake him is if it goes later than 6pm.

Becles i am wondering at what point do you eat/drink/toilet

She obviously pees in the shower and has false teeth which she keeps in a glass when at home :rotfl:

You are indeed Superwoman Becles :)

Husband and Miss M have gone out. I have put in laundry, parcelled up three packages for posting, cleared up the wrapping I did earlier today, put photos in the magnets I plan to send people in Christmas cards, organised my family's addresses, remembered all the little bits of stuff I had to do. I am about to take a well needed shower and start clearing up the floor, and when that's done I shall sit down with a cup of tea. At which point my little family will return and wonder why they had to go out in the cold while I sat on my bum and did nothing :rotfl:

I can happily eat it all - I sometimes eat curry paste but I don't think my mum would like it and I had intended to give some to her for Chritmas as she'd been telling me about her friend having some ond that it was really nice.

Mine too! I love my posty lady, we were still in bed when she came so she popped back at the end of her round to give me it :A
I've got medium red brown I think might dig up the bravery to use it after I get my hair chopped on Weds, I'd need 2 boxes if I did it now.

if you fancy cooking you could use some to make a pie http://www.cheap-family-recipes.org.uk/recipe-chickenonionpie.html?opt=rdinner You can use more chicken and less onion to make it more luxurious and/or a splash of cream/yoghurt in the filling too.
Or turn it into sandwichfilling/pasta salad for the weeks lunches, chop the chicken as finely as poss and mix with mayo/garlic mayo if you've got it and any thing from crispy bacon lardons, sweetcorn, spring onions, peas, peppers - yummers :)

MFD or you could strip all the meat from the chicken, place in a food bag and stick in the freezer, then pick up phone, dial take away and eat what turns up at your door approx 45mins later ;)
