Got back from boot camp at 9.15am. Went in the shower, dried my hair and got ready for work, dressed Charlotte and did her hair, answered questions on the position of the sun, moon and earth during the lunar cycle, answered some questions on hormones produced by the thyroid gland, put the washing in the machine into the tumble drier and another load in the washer, and managed to be in Asda 6 miles away ready to start my job at 10am. Superwoman or what? :rotfl:
I don't think I would know the answers if Alice asked me those things.

Actually that reminds me - does anyone know if dogs have deciduous teeth. ('Cause I don't know that either.)
I have a slow cooked chicken that I cooked yesterday - any ideas what I can do with it? I don't really fancy a chicken dinner :o
Chop it up and mix it with rice, random veg and soy sauce.
I think it would be lovely to have a friend to rely on and be able to do bedtime... But... It gets a bit wearing having to rely on people IME... Eg, Aimee gets picked up for school every day by my friend and I in turn walk her daughter home... Now my friend is late, every single day she makes Aimee late for school... And sometimes, like when it's raining, or when I'm feeling rough or when Caitlyn's still napping I know 3 other parents at the school I could ask to grab Aimee for me to save me going out but I can't because I have to fetch this other girl... I can't see a way to get out of the arrangement either at the moment so I'm finding it all a bit wearing and wishing it was back to just doing it all myself...
Can you not use the daily lateness as a get out?

Not all curry pastes are nice but they're less dry than curry powder.

Back form girls lesson and they loved it! Abi picked things up very quickly and was extremly confident! Megan was a lot more quiet and not letting herself go too much?
One of the school ponys is coming up for sale so i have been looking into the pricing etc etc and it works out cheaper that a lesson every week for them!
Do you think it would be terrible of me to ask family members to gift money rathr than presents for christmas towards the pony? i feel it would benifit them all and would be better than having more toys that arent looked at?

MFD i usually roast a chicken for fajhitas or curry, i think it tastes better!

Susan, Dogs teeth work much like human ones, they have 'milk' teeth then adult teeth. I don't think they get wisdom teeth though.. *ponders then decides to google* :p

Susan, dogs have baby teeth yes. Rare to find them because they either swallow them or eat them ( I know it's the same thing but what I mean is if they fall to the ground the pup will usually eat it or if they fall out and stay in the mouth the dog will swallow it). Can't remember when they come out though, I used to know from the pet shop days but have forgotten.

SS, sorry, I've never used the contact us page on the birth trauma site :( Had I know I would have said.

DS2 is feeling hard done by due to me making him put his school bag away. He now has a cardboard box and his quilt and saying he's running away.

No worries Tia, you're not to know, I just couldn't remember who exactly it was and didn't want anyone else feeling stonewalled and :(

Laundry, dishes, vacuuming and shower done, family home and "Did you have a nice quiet time?" :rotfl: Predictable is nice :) and the floor is clean which is nicer :D

Thanks. At first I thought they were probably the same as us but then I thought they grow into adults so quickly that maybe they didn't. Now I can tell Alice.

    aww how cute!:D

After a spot of searching it appears that dogs don't get wisdom teeth - fact stored in my fact bank for 'useless' info :p

    - Tia is also correct, I've only witnessed 1 lost puppy tooth but have owned roughly 10 teething puppies :)

oh and just in case anyone was wondering about my athletes foot question the other day; The cream does come under the Minor Ailments Scheme (which is now available in my area - woo!) but only for over 16yo, under 16's have to see the GP.

Also, was Charlotte really asking Becles about the thyroid gland?

I only discovered its existence a few years ago probably. (and most likely when i was looking for an excuse for being a lardarse:rotfl:)
