Sounds like an awful night Keely, but hopefully Elliot will be well very soon.
Hair dye arrived here this morning too.
I've got a haircut booked this afternoon and I know OH will have forgotten and come in from work and waltz out to the pub or something as it's his pay day and we aren't speaking (since last saturday). So i'm now working myself into a right strop over something he may or may not do.0 -
Wow WM you have will power to not speak for a whole week! One of us usually gives in after a few hours!
C is poorly. She's had a temperature since yesterday and was waking up a lot last night. We got up at 1.30am and played kitchens for a bit, then went back to bed. Fortunately she then slept till 8am, but has been very whingey this morning and is now on her 3rd sleep. She only usually has 2 a day.
HURRY UP EM!!!!

I can go on for ages. He usually gives in, but is doing quiet well. Must mean he really thinks it's my fault. But of course it isn't;). 99.99% of the time he knows he's in the wrong so cracks first because he can't take it.0 -

Som - thanks but unfortunately she doesn't feel comfortable talking to her HV
Tia - thanks for that info, I've emailed it over to her and she's looking into it. It was exactly what she needs.
I'm  coz my hairdresser text me at 11am this morning cancelling my 3pm appointment coz she has then flu and has taken the full day off. She wanted me to reschedule for next week but I needed it done for T's Christening tomorrow :mad:. She frequently cancels on me for silly/unbelievable reasons and I've had enough now so I'm not going back. I've managed to find somewhere to take me this afternoon and I'm gonna look for somewhere else long term too. She's lost DH as well now coz I'll make him use the new one that I find lol.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Gill, tell your friend that if she's contacting the Birth Trauma people to use the support@ address - I used one of the specific contact links and the person never replied to me, which put me in an even worse stateOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Afternoon everyone,
Hope everyones having a good weekend,
WM, me and my OH do the silent treatment thing when we fall out.. we can also drag it out for weeks lol, it is quite draining tho i find! i'm stubborn though and want a proper apology when he's peed me off.
Som agree what everyone else has said about friends and childcare, it is v nice of her to offer though!<snipped>
bruno did the fairies arrive during the week?
I wish I'd got my notes from having jake, theres still a lot that i dont know what happened but i dont know if i'd gain anything from it now, i would have done in the first 12 months though, i wish i had cos i was constantly going over it all in my head!

Keely - what a night! Hope he recovers soon xx
Son - I wouldn't be sure about relying on the friend. What happens if her hours change or she needs to go to an appointment after work or something like that? With just hubby and yourself involved, it's much easier to juggle things than when a third party is involved. Guess it depends on how well you know the friend and how reliable she is.
Em - sorry to hear the test didn't work. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.
Boot camp was tough this morning. It was cold, wet and windy, but I'm pleased I did it. Some workmen turned up to work at the cricket ground and they did some star jumps for us :rotfl:
Got back from boot camp at 9.15am. Went in the shower, dried my hair and got ready for work, dressed Charlotte and did her hair, answered questions on the position of the sun, moon and earth during the lunar cycle, answered some questions on hormones produced by the thyroid gland, put the washing in the machine into the tumble drier and another load in the washer, and managed to be in Asda 6 miles away ready to start my job at 10am. Superwoman or what? :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
Becles i am wondering at what point do you eat/drink/toilet :eek:Proud mum to now-grown-up daughter (Pebbles) and two lovely grandchildren (Roxy & Chip).
