Whewf, was just stressing myself out doing projections/forecasts for next year's household budgeting assuming no new exciting promotions for me, then I realised that my stupid tax underpayment/repayment tax code will go away in March and I will be nearly 200/month better off without even trying. I am very excited!
I am jealous of all these soft-playing builder types. Glad it was fun.
Don't listen to them Mel! Your secrets are yours, and you should hold them tight to you, knowledge has power

So if I do a house swap/exchange anytime in the future, I'd have to pay 80% rental costs? Sod that right off! Why would I pay private rents near enough for a scabby council flat? OMG.......I thought it meant if you were someone new going on the list? I want to house swap my way down the country.
Didn't make them cakes, made biscuits. SHAMBLES lol....my scales broke I did it by eye, kinda hard to work out 225g in flour by eye mind.
Taste alreet

I have also been waiting for Mel's news.
Very pleased Builders Conference went well Lady. And that tiny apprentice builders were tired out by the experience.
I have just been told that the area behind my desk looks like Toys r us.
I have a Leapfrog activity Table, A sleepy time pet, A Hot wheels set, Harry Potter Lego , Build a Buzz Lego and Star Wars Lego (anyone thinking Joe may be getting Lego for Christmas/Birthday?). I really should take them home, but it's so much easier to hide them here. As Joe has been doing far too much rooting about in the spare room.
Lovely photo KitKat, as were yesterday photos from Kindof and Redstar

I got that code KK, balance was only £15 so I was chuffed, ordered the purple Waybuloo. No idea what it's called?
Sometimes these catalogue companies are good with codes, think thats the 2nd I have had off littlewoods, funny though as my 1st order was using the £30 off £60 new customer code, then 2nd they send me a £10 voucher as I hadnt ordered for a while, and now this
I love free/ cheap stuff!!
I think the council rent thing sucks so much.
Sorry if I am behind but what news are we waiting off Mel?!
Freebie: glad your little one is starting to take from your left side, I had similar problems with T in that he would only take from my left side, not my right at all, then he would only take tiny amounts from my left side and loose interest. I just express and formula feed now and have had odd nights where I will feed him myself (not v often I will admit) do you do it lying down? as thats the only way I can do it.0 -

Now see that requires foresight and common sense. This is what I should have done with a big box of toys I got from one of Tescos sales that OH put straight in the loft. "rolls-eyes".
I've spent so much time searching out bargain toys, I've not thought about buying wrapping paper. Doh! And doing it in work is a great idea.

Just because someone has help doesn't automatically mean they are lazy and sitting around all day - everyone's circumstances are different. Help comes in many different forms anyway - just some are more obvious than others.
I know, that's why I didn't post, because I was seeing it for my personal situation.
I think if money were growing on trees, i'd have someone do my ironing, much as I love it! ;-):beer:0 -

The tax credits 24 hours thing is just for couples not single parents:
