But I bet if you dressed him head to toe in shocking pink they'd guess he was a boy... People were always accusing Aimee of being a boy no matter what she wore...

Oh I'm a bad person... My Nana just rang and asked if we'd be in after 4... I told her we were going to a friends after school... I just don't wanna tidy up <shame>

LOL very true! I must confess I have told people I am going out sometimes as I CBA to tidy up, mind you OHs mum is coming over later and I am not bothering with tidying, its a mess but nothing compared to her house  LOL

Yes.. so much for OHs bro babysitting tonight, his mother just phoned saying she is coming as she doesnt think he is capable on his own.. crikey why does she think I asked him?! Oh god I cant stand her... she always tells T off and makes him scream.. I dont wana leave him now :(

Littlewoods sent me a £10 off code for paying off my balance.. so I just ordered T a father xmas suit :) well they only have one '1st christmas' :p

Like maz said I normally get a text when its got there, i went on the day it said on the email once, and it wasnt there lol!

Thanks everyone - I got a text and an email just as I walked through the door of Boots!

I only went to Boots & Tesco and V was being a horror bag trying to escape from the pram. I'm guessing she was very tired because she's conked out as soon as we got back.

OH still isn't back, i've just text him and told him to collect L from school so I don't have to wake V up just yet.

Think that would be joint jobseekers then, assuming both parts of couple are able/fit to work. you can work under 16 hrs and still claim JS,

If you work less than 16 hours, aren't you allowed to earn something silly like £10 before they start to take it off your JSA?

16hrs is enough for a single parent, 24 doesn't go far enough I think.

A couple, I think, should at least do a full working week (37.5?) between them?!? I'm quite happy for OH to do my share for now. :p

Totally agree re. council rents Tara.

All the more reason why i'm reluctant to let go of my current tenancy, no matter how painstakingly unbearable life is here... It's no good.
Proud mum to now-grown-up daughter (Pebbles) and two lovely grandchildren (Roxy & Chip).

    How time flies :)

And I do think benfits need capping, just not as in one week so much, the next week gone, kids will suffer. Needs doing over say 6-12mths.

If i move into the house i might still get offered (didn't wanna say too much but... basically found out that house i missed out on.... well the people through the council who got offered it, turned it down and so it should have come back to me but the !!!!!!! HA has let it out to the builders who are doing stuff for them so they've got a toilet/kettle stop!!! Fuming!!).
.... and it didn't work out for whatever reason, i'd be a new tenant if i ever went back to council for anywhere. And when does this kick in anyway? It might even affect the HA house if i get it.

What! You mean you don't have somebody in to clean/cook/iron? :p:rotfl:

ETA: Sounds promising Wilma, have you phoned to nag them?
Surely if you're in a council property and move to another council property under the same council you're tenancy wouldn't start again, or would it?
