lol at the manager comment! :rotfl:
they really do make it hard to pay back. halifax updated their online banking and no longer accept debit card payments on the credit card! at least they accept one off payments though through bank account so can do it as a bill payment as and when (although no longer need to after today :j):j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Hi Jules
Just checked out your signature, your doing wellJust being really nosey now sorry, does that include your mortgage? Tell me to mind my own business if you like!
Hi Woowoo,
Thanks, sometimes it feels like I have a mountain to climb and other times I am pleased with what I have done so far! It doesn't include a mortgage, basically what happened was I took out a lot of borrowing to help out family members. They then couldn't meet the payments on the borrowing so I got into a mess trying to meet the payments myself and when they eventually paid me back, they could only cover the amount borrowed (ie not the tens of thousands of pounds racked up in interest by that point). I wish I had gotten them proper advice rather than trying to help by borrowing for them. But hey ho, you live and you learn!!
