Thank you all for your kind words - I will cancel it as soon as I know I am ok (ie next pay day) - I may sound like a wuss but at least it's authorised rather than having DDs bounce. I can't see why we'd go into it though and I most certainly WOULD NOT do it on purpose.
Well, had an eventful weekend. Sky is playing up big style (on 2nd HD box now - still not working) - cut a long story short kicked up a massive fuss and getting TV for free in August as not getting what we pay for.
We then decided to ditch Sky and join Virgin (can't give notice to Sky until 30th but signed up to Virgin for the date Sky bu&&er off). Better internet, same TV and phone - cheaper per month and first 6 months 1/2 price - happy days. HOWEVER - first attempt we get put as *RISK* (this is how it read). Turns out we had an outstanding bill with NTL (remember them) from 2006!! Never had a letter or anything so I start panicking it will be loads of money and we won't get accepted with Virgin anyway............ £54.58. Well, I nearly laughed - it was a default for DH and on our house which could be why we get declined for so much. Paid that today and signed up so can't wait until 30th August now. SO, technically - £54.58 to debt today hahaha!Loan - [STRIKE]£6991.95[/STRIKE]£6180.01; Barclays Res - [STRIKE]£600[/STRIKE] £0 - £22 per week , NWB Grad O/D - [STRIKE]£1185[/STRIKE] £887.86 18.28% SWALEC - [STRIKE]£700[/STRIKE] £0 NPOWER [STRIKE]£220[/STRIKE] £0 Kays - [STRIKE]£591.28[/STRIKE] £0 TOTAL DEBT - [STRIKE]£10,288.23[/STRIKE] £7,000.01 31.96 % Paid off. Ok bad news his Nat west overdraft went up due to interest rate changing which we didn't know. yay to clearing another debt, sounds like you definitely need the credit files to be checked, don't forget to go via a cashback site to get paid for checking them.
won't be long before you've cleared the next overdraft.0
