I am going to go into the bank this month at some point to ask them how I overpay on the loan etc - at that point I will ask about it - I may wait until August pay as I'm a bit scared to do it on the first month - I would never dip into it for spends but it was DDs that took us into it - just want to make sure they are all great before I remove it (does that make sense)

i'm so happy for you to have got rid of that evil reserve! the world is your oyster now, it's going to be so liberating for you. A month to just gather your finances together and get more stable is a good idea in my opinion.

    Hi Kat,
Well done on paying off the reserve, I know what a relief that must be :T

Just wanted to let you know that you can cancel it by ringing phone banking, that's what i did :) They could also probably tell you how to overpay the loan, save you the trip into the branch.
