Failing to see what makes that good value. Perhaps you can explain. Is it the battery life?
Can you find anything (NEW) with similar specs and battery life for a similar price? If not then I guess that's what would make it a good value.

How about answering the question instead of asking me one? The page isn't working for me so I can't scroll through the options, so perhaps you can tell me what is on offer.

I took it out because whatever value it represented, it fit the OP's criteria. I was just interested in the specs.

That's why I asked you. Your brain is taking a while to kick in, isn't it?

I asked why you thought that it represented good value and asked about the battery life.

Five and a half hours later, you still haven't managed to reply.

    I'd long since lost interest.

I suppose copying and pasting is much easier that actually having an opinion.

Is it safe to come out now? all the b1tchin stopped??........Ok FWIW I recommend the SAMSUNG NC10 notebook.....I bought my good lady wife one about 12 months ago. She uses it for exactly what the OP wants a notebook for. It has an amazing battery life of around 7 hrs and is great for general surfing ,facebook,twitter,wi-fi,bluetooth,webcam etc etc etc.

Ok heading for me bunker and tin hat ready for the incomming shelling.....:D

Oh and you can pick one up for around £230-00

It is not my problem if you are a stupid troll that cannot understand this but I'll repeat it in the hope that it will eventually get through your thick skull:

"Can you find anything (NEW) with similar specs and battery life for a similar price? If not then I guess that's what would make it a good value."

This is also much more helpful than the way you go monitoring your Argos Ebay outlet and pretending to be the only one who can come with your refurbished goods.

I have better things to do than trolling with drivel on these forums like the childish moron that you are. Next time you post something, think about it before you delete it later on when you sober up.
