Well im going to be claiming back till the 2008-09 tax year because i sent the initial request in the last tax year 2012-2013 and HMRC asked me to wait so I don't see why i should be penalised while they chased up something. Granted i left it another 6 months after their reply before chasing it up but their reply didn't come until this tax year and as we are currently in the same tax year it doesn't really make any difference.
Although i can see them saying "no sorry despite the incorrect information we gave you in the last tax year you can still only claim for the last 5 years."0 -

I am amazed at this.
You have apoplexy every time anybody points out any actual failings of HMRC just because your other half works there (which, lets face it, does not make it perfect).
Yet here you are making totally unsupproted accusations against Uuntil recently) another public body. The only thing that is constant is change.0 -
Can I claim if I'm self employed?
I have to wear the overalls with the company name I'm contracted to.0 -

2. No I don't. Looking up the word 'apoplexy' in any dictionary should have made this perfectly clear.
3. And this isn't even a word.
1 Why will I find lots more people who are captious, pharisaical and pietistic around?
2.
apoplexy
noun
noun: apoplexy;- 1.
dated
unconsciousness or incapacity resulting from a cerebral haemorrhage or stroke. - 2.
informal
extreme anger.
"the decision has aroused apoplexy among environmentalists
3. My spelling is not perfect, however, I believe it to be better than some on here, and the meaning of the word is clear. I do not deride people for their spelling, that would be like an HMRC supporter deriding the post officeThe only thing that is constant is change.0 - 1.

Can anyone help me.
I'm self employed but I have a long term contract with a company who I solely work for.
They supply my work wear with their logo I that I have to wear and obviously have to wash them myself.
Wound I qualify for this rebate?0
