My tax code has now changed, but I also asked for a refund. I sent the letter to ask for it to be changed and recive a refund, but I've only had a letter telling me my codes changed. NO REFUND! Any idea if or when it will come????

Hi All.
Im new to the reclaiming of Uniform, tools, specialist clothes.
Do you have to do seperate letters for each one? So eg: It would be to claim back for 3 different ones 1.Washing etc of Uniform with logo on 2.Washing etc of Specialist Clothes with logo on 3.Tools.
Does the HM Rev speak to your employer, do they know that you are doing this?
Thank you0 -
Hey all,
I am sorry if this has been asked before, I work in a residential care home but the organisation I work for does not provide uniforms. As a result of my duties my clothes need daily washing and I have had to buy new clothes because of damage to them though working - am I entitled?

Hi,
My husband works as a security officer, he has since 2008 and worked for 3 different employers, I called and they amended this year's tax code, and asked me to send a letter for the other years. I was wandering, is the figures they have on the table of the HMr website are yearly or is it a one off payment, meaning we will only have a £60ish cheque and that's all.
