Tesco Clubcard Deals-Voucher Value Change

Options
From 6th December 2010, you will only get 3 times face value instead of the current four.
The next voucher issue is due in November so if you intend spending on a deal you need to change before that date.
If you werent looking to do it immediately it may still be worth doing so now as most deal tokens are valid for 6 months. Do check each deals t&c's though.

  • oh thanks for that I have got quite a few vouchers I had been saving up. Going to go see if there is anything I want on there at the min.

Just a query though, I cant some vouchers for a theme park, these came as day out vouchers not specific ones for the theme park. Can these still only be spent at that theme park or could I use them at another day out theme park?
  • Thats awful! Really gutted, had my heart set on Barcelo fuerteventura next spring. wont have nowhere near enough by november.
Gigglesfairy, yes you can use them on other things if they arent specifically for one place.

If I understand correctly, after November you will still be able to save up your vouchers for rewards... it will just take a bit longer as you will only get 3x the value of your CC tokens, rather than the current 4x. My suggestion is that the ones you get in your November mailing, convert them straightaway or before 6th December at least. Then the ones you get in Feb, May etc, you will still be able to swop them but you will just get a bit less for them.

I wondered how long it would take them to do this after giving you more points for shopping (didn't they double the points early this year or some such?)!

They are saying you will still be better off than before double points came in, which is true, but that was over a year ago so makes it a bit of a bitter pill to swallow now.
  • does anyone know if it's possible to get vouchers with vouchers?! i.e cosmos vouchers or virgin vouchers?

    was saving for a honeymoon....

I don't know how we can be better off as they never seem to have points deals any more, just money off. I always used to take advantage of the 1000 points on a £50 spend but can't remember when they last had one of those.:(
