Phone arrived on time this morning. Orange even sent a text giving me an hour window for delivery. Plus the delivery men found me even though orange had typed in the wrong address. So a thumbs up from me.
I have ordered my unlock code. The bonus is that I had ebay voucher points so the code only cost me 24p.

Received the case yesterday - it is not perfect but will do for the time being.
I had to use a sharp blade to remove a section so the speaker isn't covered up.
Still have the original screen protector so have yet to use one I bought.
If anyone finds a better case than the one I posted above please post back

Unlock code sent this evening - worked perfectly. i then followed the instructions on APN settings on modaco so that I could connect to the internet - http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blade-blade-modaco-com/318970/access-point-name-apn-settings-for-uk-mobile-network-providers/
All in all I'm v. happy. T-mobile contract £7.50/month = £90 and a phone for £78.99 = total £168.99. Equivalent to about £14/15 per month. However, i had my last phone for 4 years so will probably get more out of this one. off to sell the old one now for an even greater bargain.

Do I have to use the orange sim to get phone working first or can I sell this sim on ebay? (noticed something in email about having to acivate sim first)
Im not sure about rooting/roming the phone....not sure I am brave enough for that but have read that the phone can be so much faster/smoother with this done so will see
Will be browsing the android market tomorrow and downloading like mad given half the chance. Can anyone reccomend some great/must have apps?0 -

Hi,
Currently using the above phone. Have activited wireless on my phone and internet is working fine. Tried to install appbrain on my phone - http://www.appbrain.com/info/getting-started
everytime I try to install it says "starting download" but nothing further happens.
What should I do?

Just ordered mine for £78.99 - I got really excited because they said I could have the £30 discount AND use my £13 phone fund, but then the guy found he couldn't use both together after all! Oh well, still a bargain.
I wish there was a simple step-by-step on the web somewhere for smartphone idiots like me, telling you how to unlock, remove all the Orange stuff and get it souped-up and ready to roll!0 -

There's quite a bit of stuff on android.modaco
My only concern about removing / modding anything is if the phone develops a fault.0 -
Anyone know if this works well with endomondo?0
