Well logged into online banking and now I owe £110,000. Need to get this down to £60,000 ASAP so we can move to a forever home with £100,000 deposit and £150,000 mortgage.

What is fab is that if we hadn't overpaid we would be paying £675 a month interest, now it is £549 which is cheaper than rent in this area which is great

Well not feeling guilty in the slightest.

Was given a 30 quid NEXT voucher so bought myself a couple of shirts and a cardigan in the sales - topped up by £4.

Was given £80 xmas money from OHs grandma and my mum and dad, bought 2 pairs of trousers and a cardigan spent £33.

Managed £15 of Asda vouchers off food shop - so was only £52 - isn't food expensive:mad:

Had a long chat with my dad on xmas day and have decided to get my rental house valued, if it is worth what I paid for it I'm going to cash it in, the £60,000 equity would be a HUGE dent in our mortgage and forever house plans.

I know it's a good investment for the future etc, but I'd like the girls to have a nice family home now. We can worry about investments once we are MF in the family home.

My dad is worried that if prices escalate it will be such a massive jump to the next step, whereas relatively we are closer than in 2007 when we moved into this, as the next rung of the ladder have fallen quite a bit locally. Dad knows what he is doing, he's been quite successful in property for 11 years, and a home owner for over 30.

If we overpay over the next 12 months I reckon we will owe, £100,000. The equity in this plus the rental place would therefore give us £120,000 deposit. Meaning around £130,000 mortgage on a forever home, perfectly acceptable. We will however *lose* £400 a month income. If not it will take 8 years with overpayments to get that amount of equity, which is still a consideration

One of my closest childhood friends has announced she is at the 12 week stage of baby number 4 - really surprised by many reactions though, lots of 'hope it's a girl' (she has 3 lovely boys) slightly insensitive.

Anyway she has found out the sex with all the others so only 8 weeks to wait and we will know. :jI'm guessing another boy but I could be wrong. She's normally tiny but already has a big bump, although could be because it's fourth pregnancy etc.

I'm strangely jealous, I said to OH could we have another, he said yeah but only when DD1 (now nearly 18 months) is a bit older. So probably another 18months or so. I was hoping sometime this year to try but I suppose I'll have to wait some more:rotfl:

Hi, I've just got to the end of your diary and wanted to say hello and tell you how impressed that I am! I wish I had been so focussed at your age! Well done and I think there would be benefits to four boys not three and a girl - she would always be a bit odd one out.

I've just discovered furniture charity shops and had a wonderful beech wardrobe delivered this morning for the bargain price of £48 plus £3 delivery.

Have got priority codes through for The Sun and Daily Mail hols, guess we will be going away again with them. After last years 5 weeks for less than £400 for four, I'm looking to top it this year.

Missing DD1 as she has started pre school, but it is lovely just having DD2 as I've been mopping the kitchen, living room during her naps. My bathroom has never looked so clean either.

Seriously considering doing a budget flight and doing a European hol through The Sun and Daily Mail have been researching.

Hopefully when I get my final Daily Mail code word (tomorrow) I can look at what's available park wise, as Ryanair have some very good flights to Paris, Rome for the weeks we can go.

Adding park extras we could go to Paris for £300 including Park, and flights from Leeds Bradford (we live within 5 miles of this). For 7 days in May. IF we can get in using the paper offers

Very exciting will let you know how I get on tomorrow:)
