Cool! I love the wombles, always have (I am over 30 and being Australian doesn't count as being foreign when it comes to most children's tv).
But searching for receipts on the common to see what vouchers they have is not something I would have thought of doing myself!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Think of what it would be without your OP's though. Are you on quite a high fixed rate? I guess so for a 10 year deal.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

5.99% but no tie in, in a year.
Think it may have been better to 'buy ourselves' out of it a couple of years ago, but now we are so close to the end of it, any savings on interest would be negated by the mortgage valuation fee, arrangement fee so we are sticking with itOPs so far £42,139

MSE things today
Train fare to visit friend £3.70, for three of us (kids free)
Only bought one tea and one fruit juice and one brownie to share
No heating again today
Cancelled soft play tomorrow, my kids don't like it, so I'm taking them to a community playgroup instead saving £10.
Sorted out my christmas pile against a list so they are all allocated so no wastage, and I can now buy top ups where needed.
None MSE things
Pub tea but was only £14 for four of us and we enjoyed it.
10 people on my christmas list haven't got gifts yet.
Third day of my diet, and I feel horrendous after pub tea, this is not going well. My sister is a dietician so I'm not telling her about my plan:rotfl:OPs so far £42,139

Good luck with the diet! You're a better woman than I am, starting one in late November... I'm just throwing in the towel for the next 6 weeks!!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)

Have hit £10,000 ops for the year.
Looking towards re mortgaging in Nov 2012 if we make no more OPs we will have an outstanding balance of £106,000 next year.
Would have been £133,000 owing without OPs so has made a BIG difference, even in two years.
Saved £83,000 in interest with the two OPs so far.OPs so far £42,139

Currently loving Leeds City Council as my house in Headingley conforms to the (not quite as strict as last time I enquired) HMO regs.
All I need to do is get a stud wall erected to create a corridoor through the lounge and there we have a 5th bedroom (or in other words another £3380 a year in rent).
Going to finish my christmas shopping this evening.
Mum had a go about my PhD last night, I haven't seen my supervisor for 18 months - they abandoned me once I had my kids - but Mum has said that as I have a full draft completed I should just hassle them come Jan to submit or help me. As it's been 5 1/2 years since I started. It really is time to either give up or finishOPs so far £42,139
