I agree! It would be a shame not to finish it once you've got so far

And yay to an extra bedroom!

    Just coming on to vent:mad:

Well I've been trying to get a builder to come and put the stud wall up - no look there.

Got a phone call from tenants this morning that the fridge and the cooker don't work. So called an electrician as I suspected a circuit was probably out. The fridge was working, they had just accidentally turned it to defrost:mad:

The cooker has a faulty element which he replaced. Not impressed as both were new in Aug 2010 (so should have claimed off manufacturers warranty/sale of goods act) well I'm £54 worse off but hey it's fixed:j

OP allowance came back on 17th of Dec (Sat) so today 19th (Mon) have phoned up halifax and overpaid £10,000:j:j:j

Term now 17 years. Cannot believe only 4 years ago we started with a 30 year term.

Have £2800 left of our 10% allowance, then will have to save again before I can overpay this time next year.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
