4 whole years have passed on 26th of Nov since we moved in, cannot believe how much has changed in that time

Good to see it written down though isn't it. That's a huge difference in just a year!

Well with the threat of legal action looming over us - ex tenants have instructed a solicitor over return of their deposit, which was being held by a deposit protection scheme and who decided we were entitled to 25% of it.

The experts are all saying that we are in the right, including those on here, but it is still a worry. I don't really want my day in a small claims court even if I'm being told it's 99% likely we'll win.

Anywho having a think about it whilst I compose my next letter to their solicitor:rotfl:

On a brighter note got some child benefit this week and overpayments are now over £9,000 for the year.

Have made a list of outstanding christmas presents still to buy and there are lots:rotfl:

Taking DD1 to Diddi Dance this afternoon, it's £4 a session normally but our first one is free to see if she likes it before booking a block.

You wouldn't think anyone would pay a solicitor to claim a small amount when they must also realise it was withheld for a valid reason.

How did dd get on at diddi dance? I think I looked into that one for my dd but thought she might want something more structured so are looking into ballet after christmas. They are busy with christmas show at the moment so probably not a good time.

    Had a good day yesterday.

Have been 'wombling' receipts, ones that get discarded in carparks and then seeing if they are 'worth' anything. Did the asda price guarantee and was entitled to vouchers for £15, so bought DD1 some knickers and some pyjamas as she only had one pair.

Also got 2 boxes of huggies nappies, after my vouchers I spent £9.71 so pretty good going.

Forgot that OH owes me maintenance for the kids so that's another £140 winging our way. I'm wondering whether £10,000 OP is realistic
