Hi MissMoneyaver thank you for stopping by.

If you want to do a PGCE just go for it, I think it has definitely been worth it, despite the ups and downs.

My whole life is often huge highs and lows, I just try and roll with the punches and thank God for the blessings.

Had a lovely frugal holidays so far. Went to Ilkley Park on Monday with friends and kids and Kirkstall Abbey today with different friends. Feel really lucky to live in a beautiful part of the world.

I've been drawing out £50 a week spending money and when it is gone it is gone.
    OPs so far £42,139

Well done on getting your first job. Maybe see the first year as just one to get thrugh full time, then after that find a pt job. I'm a pt teacher and like the work life balance it brings x

Hello, just had a long overdue catch up of your diary. Can't believe your buyers took so long!

Sorry you had a rough ride on your PGCE, you got through it though and achieved your dream despite the challenges. Hat off to you for breastfeeding through it, that is a full time demand in itself -although fantastic!

You can reap the rewards now though. Can you claim salary sacrifice/childcare vouchers to help with childcare costs? Would a nanny be a cheaper option?
