    Great stuff, well done :T

Any thoughts on redoing the placement?

Well done! Just shows the massive profits the banks are making. Brilliant to keep some of that for yourself!

I don't need to re do placement as I passed my triangulated assessment on the final Friday. The head, class teacher, uni tutor and head of programme came down to spend a whole day watching me teach. (I didn't do wonderfully mostly Cs (requires improvement) but two goods.

So it was enough to get through. Uni are arranging me to spend a day a week in a school for ten weeks Feb - Apr in the run up to final 8 week placement which starts 28th April. (So I'm properly prepared.)

Uni have been amazing actually, they really knew what hell I was having and I couldn't be happier. (unfortunately it has taken me as the fifth student to have similar issues before they have taken action - but I am genuinely pleased.) Fitting in an extra 10 days at one a week, is a lot easier than another 24 days as a block.

Plus it's not assessed, as I passed my assessment so can genuinely just use it for learning without the additional stress and pressure.

Same here if it's any consolation :(

Decided to set myself a new target 1/1/19 - five year target to be MF.

Just need to work out how much that will require in Ops.

I've got to go for it though surely (I always hoped we would be MF by 35 and I'll be 34 then so that must count right;)

Confirmation from the Hally in, our mortgage term is currently 10 years 6 months. End date June 2024, (so my original aim of being MF before 40 has been met) if we carry on with no more overpayments, but keep paying the mortgage obviously.

We have £83,000 to be mortgage free.

Definitely want to shave another 5 years off. Here's hoping ;)

Exciting times, we have had an offer on our old house - so we will possibly be proceeding with that.

We are going to lose at least £20,000 on it, as we exceeded the ceiling price of the road on renovations, plus we bought in 2007 and prices have gone down around 10% round here since then.

Anyway means that we can get on with our new home, which hopefully will be worth £20,000 more than we paid. Should be - as we got it at auction. £140,000 less than the previous owner paid in 2006.

Think that this is how I will reason it with myself, it is absolutely gutting to lose £20,000 on a house, but it is all relative. We have also got ours at least £20,000 cheaper than we would have paid in 2007
