Looks really nice, very kind of your parents to offer to do that for you. Were in the same position really, we need some where bigger, not desperately but definately in next few years. Houses just arent selling by me, which means some great 'bargains' out there but also means we wouldnt break even selling our house even after OP'ing for 4 years!!

Would you want to rent it out if you couldnt sell?

No chance, the rents aren't high enough £600 for a house we paid 159,000 for. A couple on the street are rented and always get snapped up. It is also so costly in maintenance that would eat into any 'profit'.

oooh I like it. Good luck with the viewing. I remember trying to get mine ready and had a huge list but just focused on what was priority. It's the cleaning preparation and maintenance that puts me off trying to sell this. It's great that your parents can help you out financially too.

Let us know how you get on!

The viewing went fine. Lovely house but needs too much work for us. They are advertising an offer of £185,000 with it being a repossession they have to invite higher offers until exchange and I have heard the horror stories of people being gazumped which wouldn't suit us.

Got stuck in snow earlier and have cracked my front bumper, really lucky to not have ended up in a ditch but dreading the repair cost.

Taking the car in later to see whether it can be fixed and the cost. Just when I thought finances were looking rosy

Hope car isnt too costly. Are you going to carry on house hunting? We're getting ours valued later. I must be mad!

Well viewing six at the rental house tomorrow.

Another one who is squeezing me in at 1pm. Phoned after 9pm as well to arrange viewing which I wasn't that impressed by. I said 1pm wasn't that convenient as I have plumber due between 12-1pm at my own house. However, the other option was Wed at 5 when I'm working. So sounds like another lot who are having two intense days of house hunting. Wish mine didn't get lost in the mix:rotfl:

Another two viewings at the rental house next week.

Monday and Tuesday but I'm going to have to get 2 trains (just local metro ones) as I will be without car whilst it is getting fixed after I skidded it into a verge in the snow last week.

So excited having a uni reunion tomorrow cannot wait:j:j:j

Warm front have agreed to send another engineer out tomorrow aout our non working boiler has been playing up since Nov and they keep sending out clueless engineers. Have had to get my local MP on the case as I was sick of having no hot water or heating. :j
