Faith in Nature use ammonium laureth sulphate in most of their products, which isn't really any better than sls.

Well, b*gger. Maybe it's time to stop using shampoo completely. It takes so long to try and find a relatively cr*p-free, reasonably priced shampoo!

Hi after reading this thread, i just wanted to add that i have just started researching this topic, as I am looking to replace all my products that may contain Phtalates and i've decided to try and go as natural as possible.

I have just had a hugh clear out and was shocked at what ingredients were in my cosemetics, I always liked Clarins products even though they are expensive and i thought they were fairly natural, but i was total disappointed to see what was in their foaming cleanser sls, parabens , the lot so i wont be using that anymore.

Also I have just tried Waitrose's new organic range and found the Moisturising soap (£1.99)very good and not drying and it appear to be fairly natural from the ingredients on the back (though if i'm wrong and have misssed something let me know)

Also as previously mentioned Liz Earle confirmed to me today that about 6 of their products do contain parabens including c&P.

I had a really good reply from Neals Yard saying that they dont put sls, parabens or phtalates in any of there products so i'm going to splash out on some of threr stuff as i used to like them when i was better off.

Aubrey stuff is good but quite expensive - there is a buy one get one free offer here: http://www.pureskincare.co.uk/acatalog/Aubrey_Free_Shampoo_offer.html as well as a 25% off offer here: http://www.pureskincare.co.uk/acatalog/Aubrey_50__off.html

Aubrey is a US company though and I would prefer to support a UK one but the Aubrey North Woods shaving cream and the mens pine deo are both the best ones I have found.

Green People is a UK company though and their shampoo contains no nasties either, their mens moisturiser/aftershave is excellent too: http://www.greenpeople.co.uk/home.aspx

You can also get some Green People products from here, with free UK delivery: http://www.livingiseasy.co.uk/search/?search=green+people

And a wider range of Green People (including shampoos) from here, also with free UK delivery:

Oh, well. Here's my new MS, but being non-ugly plan...

Just water for my face and cocount oil for cleansing and moisturising face and body.

Don't think I can give up my makeup or hairwax just yet, but baby steps, right?
