The first thing that person from last night will do is tell his mates who will rib him for it being the 115BHP version. Then he'll read the online reviews of the car, then he'll check prices of other similar cars. I'd be surprised if you saw him again.
I'm pleased that all of a sudden you've got some interest in the car - since you started to get negative info on here in fact.
As i and others have posted, there are many cars similar to yours for sale out there, and often with the preferred 1.8T engine for between £2500 and £3000.
I am glad your pleased. Its ever since I lowered the price by about £500 on autotrader on Tuesday.0 -

How many calls have I had then where people havent come to look at it?? :think:0 -
Been trying to sell my car for over 3 weeks. Started off at £4400 now down to £3645 with no interest whatsoever!
Its been listed on Autotrader, Ebay and Pistenheads.
All I have had is 2 emails asking about condition and thats it!
Its not overpriced at all if anything I thinks its a real bargain.
Anyone give any pointers on where to list it next?? These listing fees are getting expensive!
Have you tried selling it on Car Arena?
It exposes your vehicle details to hundreds of dealers/traders in one go, and invites them to bid on the car...often with excellent results for the seller!
Completely free service, you have nothing to lose!0 -
tell you wot i'll take it off ur hands for 50 quid
only joking the price is still to high. i'm it the car business and at the mo people are only looking for bargains and are not interested in paying book price.
you've had 760 hit on this thread lots of free advertising and still no offers you may have to lower the price againFares Advisor & Oyster Specialist - Newdeal/ukRail Fares Workshop Accredited0 -
good ad. nice and clear. will need to price a bit more competitively as there are plenty of other cars around to choose from and pricing below competition will make it that bit more attractive.

I would swop the pictures around put the 2nd one on as the main pic. The pictures are a little uninspiring maybe redo them and take some of the inside of the car. Maybe photograph the service history and post that online too. As others have stated something is only ever worth what someone will pay for it though. If you have no joy before this weekend I think £3,000 is it's value for a private seller.0
