good bargains there and car was very cheap0

The car still IS very cheap at the moment as when I went to collect her earlier on their payment machine was broken so we haven't paid yet! :rotfl: They are meant to be calling me to confirm once it's fixed - I'll have to call in there on Thursday to sort that out.
Yesterday and today were NSD's.....I rather think Sunday was as well but can't remember when I last updated my total on my signature - so shall play safe and just add the two on.
Bob the socks feel alright so far - I always have a problem with socks as having size 4 feet means that they are nearly always too big for me - these are, but they seem to be soft enough not to make that too much of a problem. The test will be a walk into town and back on Thursday morning. I must remember to take a spare "reliable" pair with me just in case. If they do turn out to be OK then they are certainly an extremely good price. The boots are still gorgeous - I wore them to work yesterday!
No sign of the Legal & General £15 compensation yet - I shall give it until Thursday and then chase them up. Also getting until Thursday before being chased are Renault who haven't so much as acknowledged the letter I sent several weeks ago asking them to sort out the car boot-lid-support.
Quidco paid out earlier than expected, so that has gone to the holibobs fund, and I sold another couple of bits on eBay (but only 2 x 99p bits) so that's some more clutter left me. Re-checked the holiday figures and realised that once everything is taken into account we are *there* so far as this year is concerned. Ferry tickets are now booked as well - albeit the return journey was only just, as the boat was nearly full! The way over is apparently quiet though....bliss!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I know what you mean re socks. I bought DD2 some of the children's versions of skiing socks in Aldi. They were double lined and nothing to rub on her feet. She was chuffed to bits as they were very comfortable. I have bought myself a larger pair..shhh, they have pirates on, but are mega cute:D:rotfl::rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
