Wow your lists are impressive Essex, as usual I'm sitting thinking about what needs done, less thinking and more doing needs to be my new motto.0

think I'll adopt that motto too.0

Excellent Motto Swinstie - I realised at one point yesterday I was doing a lot of thinking about tidying the front room, and not a lot of doing it!
Pretty nice day today - Farmers market this morning, intended to spend not too much and came away with a big pack of lambs liver, a quarter shoulder of mutton, a pack of beef skirt, a pack of braising steak, 2 small kabanos sausages, a salmon sausage (far FAR nicer than it sounds and will go beautfully with pasta!) and a large piece of locally made Chorizo sausage all for £16 so really pleased with that. Then lidl - two bottles of squash for MrEH, a 2.5kg bag of spuds, a big pack of leeks and a kilo of onions for £4.50 :T Then there was the Tesco shop....! We can call the grocery budget shot to pieces for this month!Having said that though I have done a fair bit of re-stocking as well as taking advantage of special offers, so whilst not good, could be worse. This afternoon we headed out to watch MrEH's team play rugby - which was a resounding win, we're just waiting to hear how their two main rivals have got on today to see if they still have a crack at winning the league or not. Icing on the cake though was Italy beating France in the 6 nations! :j
Having cancelled that Legal & General policy recently you might remember that they went ahead and took the next DD payment regardless, claiming that they "hadn't had time" to cancel it. I emailed and complained, explaining that it was was going to leave me short for the month and demanding that they refunded it immediately. I got no response whatsoever (bar a letter which had already been sent prior to my email, telling me they were going to refund me, which they hadn't!) so emailed again asking whether I could expect the courtesy of a reply, and stating how dissatisfied I was with their utter lack of customer service. Got home today to a letter apologising, saying that I can expect a refund within 5 days, and that there would be an additional payment of £15 as an apology for inconvenience caused!
Tomorrow will be a lazy day I think, although we will probably head out for a walk at some point. Hope everyone else is having a nice weekend?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Yes, but less so if they are going to give me £15 compensation for doing it!
Spotted last night that the Nationwide e-bonds money has at long last been received by Quidco so that should be £35 coming my way at the end of the month!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Oh no no noooo - that was last week's news, smart money is on them being back in, there is to be an announcement tomorrow apparently! *rolls eyes" - sooooo glad Ipswich are well out of it and can't wait for our first meeting this Thursday! The politics have just been tearing the sport apart this winter - in common with most others I'm fed up of all the rubbish going on!
Hoping to get my hair cut tomorrow, if not then later in the week as it's finally got the stage where it is driving me mad as it's just too long. As well as that, I want to go to our first speedway away meeting of the season on Saturday night as it is at my very local track - 10-15 minutes away! So need to budget for two lots of speedway this week - I'll print my own programme (or go without) and take my own food so only admission to worry about. I've also got to get my Dad's birthday present sorted - that will be about £25 so a bit of a spendy week. I'll be heading to Boots on Friday to get a coupleof Clinique bits once Bonus Time has started as well - I'm definately getting the lightweight foundation as it's the nearest to their old tinted moisturiser that's available at the moment. Not sure if the other item will be a second tube of that though, or a spare of my powder, or possibly a naughty treat of my favourite (but pricey) body scrub - Sparkle Skin. I may treat myself to the scrub as with using the epilator I'm quite prone to ingrowing hairs on my legs and it's great for combating those. Either way though both items will be bought using advantage card points so no actual money changing hands there.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
