  • Brilliant EH! I'm going to aim to pay the equivalent of an extra month this year to get us started :j
One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

  • Well done on the overpayment EH. :) And i love the tale of her surprised face.

Keep on doing what you are doing.

Cheers all! Me - let me know if you want me to send you my spreadsheet for keeping track of the impact of OP's - it makes it so simple to see just how one extra month can make all the difference.

Had a lovely day up in Chester yesterday to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday - a whole load of us met up who often only see one another once a year at the beer festival so it was great to see everyone, plus a couple of friends we also know through CAMRA who we didn't know were turning up! :D Chester is a lovely city as well - the camera kept me company for the day so I will be putting some of the shots on my blog in due course I think. It was a fairly MSE-friendly day too - the train tickets were bought in advance for £35 return each - that was right from our local station, the beer prices weren't too high (apart from in the first pub we visited but we only had one there) and we took food with us to eat on the train (Asda Smartprice cream-cheese with some smoked salmon I had in the freezer, with bagels, also from the freezer and bought when reduced! :D So posh but frugal at the same time!) so there wasn't even any spend on food.

I've just checked my eBay sales and I have 6 items which will definately sell today - all with some hours still to go, and 9 that don't have bids at the moment. Not greatly high value any of it but all stuff that is better off earning me some dosh and leaving the house a little less cluttered! I will head out in a few moments and collect my Avon books in, then the rest of the day is for lounging about, watching TV, cooking, catching up on MSE diary threads and having a NSD I think! :D Will also try to do some general pottering about and decluttering as I go, although my five items for the day have already been sorted out, thrown away or put back where they belong!

Hope everyone else is having a nice Sunday!

Annoying when that happens, isn't it! My items have now finished - 6 sales, totalling just under £30 so I'm very happy with that. Once again too it proves that sometimes it is better if things don't sell first time, as two of the items sold for £10 + with starting prices of £4. :j The wretched Italian girl bid again in spite of the positively HUGE line at the bottom of the listings stating UK sales only. I've beaten her to it this time though and have sent an invoice to cover the increased postage!

Avon books collected back in and 4 orders with them - two from occasional customers, one from a semi-regular, and one new one. The books are now ready to go back out again as well which will be on my list for Tuesday. :)

Right - need to come up with some sort of meal plan for next week I think! :D
