Awww GG Sorry the Osprey thing wasn't as good as you hoped - fingers crossed you'll have more luck if you go back again.

Went out Sun am to the nature reserve & saw them from the hide where they have fab telescopes, then a closer one where you could see them with the naked eye. Saw mummy & daddy faffing about & the 3 chicks were great - stretching their wings & starting to jump up & down - I was v excited :). Will also recognise them in Gambia now :rotfl:.

Great news on mortgage rate :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Glad you got to see them properly in the end - we were watching Marsh Harriers at RSPB Titchwell Marsh last weekend - birds of prey generally are fab!

Have spent a bit of time this week researching renewal quotes for home contents and the dreaded car insurance. In the past I have had a habit of putting off looking at the car insurance renewal particularly, through concern about how expensive it might be (classic avoidance technique!) and have missed the boat and ended up having to settle with my current provider. After the nightmare last year renewing with Admiral (when they decided to INCREASE my premium as a result of a claim being processed to no-fault!) I really want to be able to move elsewhere this year! So far it's looking fairly reasonable - Mine is looking to drop fairly substantially, and MrEH's will increase a bit, but overall it's looking like about a break-even on last year which is better than I expected. Home contents could come in a bit cheaper than last year and I'll go via TCB for some cashback as well hopefully. All good! :)

With the beer festival creeping up on us very fast (this time next week I will have spent my first day on site) we seem to have a fair amount to do - MrEH needs to get a tyre looked at on his car, and I have to do a Tesco shop, I have two £4 off when you spend over £30 vouchers so will hopefully manage to use both. Lots of other bits and bobs to be done too, including tea round at my parents onSunday evening and hopefully some birthday present shopping too! :D
