you're doing great with the money in your purse and your mobile.
  • Slightly spendy day today - there was a Tesco trip, and a stroll around town, and a wander into our local branch of Millets, which is one of those that is closing down. We came out £28.50 poorer, but, for that we got:

2 x pairs of canvas shoes (MrEH)
2 x v-necked fleeces - one a sort of sagey green (MrEH) and one a dark plummy purple (Me :D)
An Ordnance Survey map of the North west Norfolk coast
A dark Navy showerproof fleece lined jacket (Me! :D)
A pair of regatta cropped lightweight walking trousers (Me! :D:D)
2 x base layer tops (moisture wicking ones for wearing for walking on holiday) (Me again! :D)

My share of that came to £16.00 - it's gone on the credit card for now and I will pay it from my eBay money when the bill comes in. There is still masses of stock there for sale, so we'll probably wander back in again before they close altogether. Feel SO sorry for the staff, but it sounds like they are managing it quite kindly - the long termers have been let go already, leaving a newer member of staff and some temps from elsewhere to do the selling off and clearing out.

Needed cat food and didn't have *quite* enough joint money so chipped in a pound towards that, and have also popped a pound into a savings tin as well - we're aiming to pop some cash aside for general fun stuff in the summer - camping trips etc, so I'm going to start popping a bit in there every now and then.

Ebay stuff is finishing over the weekend - a load of CD's finished last night, all unsold, but I have relisted. If they don't go this time then they will go to Music Magpie. So far tonight I have sold one item of camera gear for £69, and have four Queen badges still to go - all ending shortly and all with multiple bids. :D Post office trip tomorrow I think!

I now have £13.00 in my purse
And £4.34 credit on my mobile (Series of texts to good friend in Scotland earlier today! Worth every penny!)

Avon orders are now just a shade under the higher order value so I should hopefully make that - which means I will actually earn something worthwhile off this campaign! Hurrah!

Hey Essex, thanks for the reminder of the council tax free months, I always end up spending the money on 'other' things, this will be chucked at the debts. Also, off to see if we have a Millets in Scotland, cos OH needs a rain jacket. We got kitted out last year for going walking but he never got a jacket. Could be his birthday pressie!
  • The four Queen badges sold....total of £13.65 for the four! And I have another 20+ of those that I found yesterday! :j:j:j

You could set up your own mse with all the bargains and tips you have or find :T.

I managed to get a few in mr T at the weekend but they never reduce them down very much, its a smaller store so they are bah humbug indeed!

When the weather is better and we have more time we intend to walk there and the butchers for exercise with a backpack for the bits we need. Will be about 3 1/2 miles in total. At the moment we use the car all the time and the other big supermarkets are all much further away so unless passing you don't make the savings.

MIL got me the Models Own free make up vouchers in the NOTW mag and I'm going by Mr T twice this week so hope they have a set in. She thinks I want it for myself - I want to sell it. See I'm learning. :D

Hi, sounds like you've been productive. Glad the ebay sales are going to well. Bet you'll be listing the other Queen badges pretty sharpish.
How close to the higher commission level are you? if you're close enough could you not get Mr EH to be a customer and buy something small to push you over the line.
My avon lady has done well out of me this time.
  • God thinking LT, but thankfully I picked up another couple of orders today so am now "safe" on my HOV. To give those who don't know how it works an example, we get 20% commision on Minimum order value, but 25% once we hit higher, so orders of £147 give you £29.40, whereas orders of £149 give you £37.25 - yep, Reps will order bits and bobs for themselves if they are JUST under HOV as it makes sense to do so!

The other Queen badges will certainly be going on eBay as soon as there is another free listing weekend so I will keep my eyes open for one. A job for tomorrow if the light is good enough will be to get some photos done and edited up ready too. I have al sorts of stuff, tour programmes, magazines, books, more badges and a lot of assorted Promotional stuff.

Good on you for wanting to get the makeup set to sell on Pippa - hope you're able to pick it up OK. I was going to get The Mirror tomorrow to get the freebies from Superdrug until someone on the No More Toiletries said the stores hardly seem to have any stock, and then I realised that I don't need either of the items anyway! :o I'm learning too!

Thanks Taxi - bargains like the Millets ones certainly don't come along often! :D

NSD's are going to be thin on the ground this week I suspect - went into Tesco today for their bargain priced 8-roll kitchen paper for £2. Tomorrow will be posting eBay stuff so will be spending then too. I will aim for Wednesday and Thursday as NSD's I think. Bought the kitchen rolls on my CC+ though so:

I have £13.00 in my purse
I have £4.34 credit on my mobile.

I collected the makeup today and its in a pretty strong clear bag too - I think one they are no longer available it might sell ok, or I might keep it to give to someone as a gift who would not have seen the adverts ;)
