no one can be as excited as i am! not looking forward to time with huge holes in the walls, and i'm convinced the wall above the patio will colapse because of the water that's soaked into it due to the guttering problem. Ah well we'll soon know what's gonna happen, and i have insurance. It may just push the issue as well.0

New door and windows, best thing we ever did! They only took one window out at a time so we could control each room as it happened.
I have lots of bottles and potions, more from gifts than me buying, or taking hte freebies from hotels. DH and DS now have bottles in order in the shower to use up :money:. I will have to pop over and join the thread but each time I hear S & G I go lalallalalalala as I am a Sanctuary fan and that is dear enough.

Would be worth asking specifically for comments from the window chaps about the state of that wall / any other problems they see that are related to the guttering problem - in case it DOES have to have something done about it might be handy perhaps to have something from a professional who knows what he's looking at? I suspect you'll find that the disruption will be less than you think as well - as Pippa says they're likely to work methodically to avoid the place getting too cold whilst they are doing it. :TNew door and windows, best thing we ever did! Sanctuary stuff is lovely too - I succumbed to the three-pack of body butters in the Boots 50% sale - and lovely they are too!

I get SUCH a lot done on Avon delivery days as I have to be up early in case the courier turns up earlier than expected!
In "Other news" I have bids on several of my eBay items - none of the CD's yet but I wasn't entirely expecting that I would. I think I need to find a small box to pop other bits into as I find them ready for the next free listing weekend. Queen Fan Club memorabilia still sells well I've found so I will have a think about what else in that line I can find to list - I still love the music, but no longer feel I need all the clutter from the "stuff" (Badges, patches, fan club magazines etc etc etc - the vinyl is staying firmly put though!). I rescued a load of rubber stamps from the rubbish area outside over the weekend - they need checking for clarity and then cleaning up but I reckon I can list those next time - probably as a job lot.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Now I'm excited about LT's windows/door too - think we need a photo!
EH - over on the declutter thread, a challenge I've just done is get rid of 100 things in 10 days. I'm exhausted - why??! It's only 10 things a day. The main thing is to keep stuff moving. Amazing how quickly a cardboard box (with a new juicer in it, who, me??) is suddenly looking like part of the furniture....:)Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

you'll definitely have photos! of the before and after shots, OH is clearing things from around the windows as we're not quite sure what we need to do before they get here so we're taking things down and stuff.0

You're very welcome indeed Pips! I think one of our jobs for over the weekend shall be to make a start on digging out the bit of garden we're going to use for veggies - won't take long as its only postage stamp sized but I'd like to be able to dig in some good stuff before we want to be planting into it. Hopefully some of our compost will be ready for use - we'll have to have a dig in there and see.
Avon orders all delivered bar three which I have to go back to on Saturday morning. First lot of books from this campaign collected too and just over £80 of orders which is reasonable.
I have £15.00 in my purse
I have £4.74 credit on my mobile.

You are doing so well on your mini challenge. I've got £19 something in my purse and with my bank card being cancelled no way to spend anymore unless DH uses his bank card :money:.
I need a bit of petrol today £10 will do, then DH will do a big fill up tomorrow as we are heading to Autosport on Friday for business meetings. Must make sure when I fill up i don't forget to watch the screen as £10 will take about 2 seconds :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
EH is it you who is starting to provide office services / virtual assistant services by the hour?
I am investigating doing something similar in South Manchester and would appreciate talking it through with someone. If it is you I am also a 'Matrix Mama'
TIA
