P we REALLY want to do Edinburgh!
will depend on when the fixture is though - saw our TM Pete on saturday night and he reckons the fixture list should be any time so fingers crossed.
Me The irony was part of the incentive for Ipswich dropping down was to resume the old local derbies with KL - then it all got very confusing and KL were *coughs* encouraged to go up.As for MrEH, he has already qualified to wear a wig but was never able to get a place (they are like hens teeth) for the final stage in his training, so now works as a legal assistant in a solicitors. It's a compromise I wish he hadn't had to make, but unfortunately a lot of the time in his world it isn't what you know, it's who Daddy plays golf with. Ben's Dad knows nothing about golf.....:o
Taxi - I'm impressed too!Next month is going to be a challenge in more ways than one as I already have rather a lot of stuff on the spreadsheet for the month that was bulk-bought over the past few months! I'm on 56p a day average already and the month hasn't begun yet! :rotfl:
Right - quick switch of colour as I need a To Do list for tomorrow:
Wash, shower, dress
Washing from airer, fold and put away
Washing from machine > Airer
Next load of washing > machine
Load dishwasher
Washing up
Set breadmaker going with a loaf
Tidy front room
Update client invoice
Update income/expenditure spreadsheet

Tell him not to give up his dream, if he keeps popping up there and doing work/helping then maybe, just maybe, someone will spot him and help him get that final step up the ladder.

LOL at your day getting in and out of your car Me - sounds hectic! :rotfl: Sadly for MrEH's dream, to take that path now would mean completely re-taking the 1 year full time Bar Vocational Course again - which costs a fortune, as nobody would consider him for pupillage having been qualified for so long. It's a shame for him, although he does enjoy what he does now which is a blessing.
OK - progress on the list:
[STRIKE]Wash, shower, dress[/STRIKE] Done, and makeup on too.
[STRIKE]Washing from airer, fold and put away[/STRIKE] MrEH did this last night! :T
[STRIKE]Washing from machine > Airer [/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Next load of washing > machine[/STRIKE] Done - only a part load as yet so will stay there until tomorrow night probably
[STRIKE]Load dishwasher [/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Washing up[/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Set breadmaker going with a loaf[/STRIKE] Whirring away right now
Tidy front room
Make a batch of muffins for MrEH's breakfasts

Looking at how much I have already got done I feel quite :A - I am about half way through sorting the front room too - I'll pop my shoes on in a sec and take some stuff out to the recycling I think, then my "declutter 5 things every day" ongoing task will be done for today too. I'm just going to have 5 minutes round the diaries and then crack on.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I have sympathy with your OH EH, i did my LPC course straight out of uni but there were 14k students leaving that year who wouldn't get articles. Therefore i had a career rethink and flopped into accountancy. You're very right about it being who you know not what you know!
what type of muffins do you make for your OH's breakfast?
can i pick your brain please about avon?
I bought some stuff so that i could qualify for the scales offer. The scales have yet to arrive which i'm fine about, the lady said possibly another couple of weeks.
One of the things you had to get was the nail polish, weeeeellllllll, i painted my nails late Friday evening, two coats as per destructions, slept and then had a shower only to find half the polish gone. I'm not too impressed with this, and know i can return goods if i'm not happy (i'm assuming this is a qualifying reason) but i still want the scales and dont' know if returning the goods will mean i won't be able to have them. Do you have any clues? are you lost already? have you given up the will to live? lol thanks0 -

Ugh, the wretched horrible speed-dry stuff. Can't stand it - I got sent one too many of them in my box of stuff today and frankly I'm going to return it for a credit 'cos even free it's not good enough to keep! My suggestion would be - hang onto it and its box until you get your scales, then, when your rep delivers the scales, hand her back the nail varnish and say you're unhappy with the quality. To be honest, most reps won't have any kind of problem with it anyway, but better to play safe and get the scales in your hand first!Remember you get 90 days to return stuff, so you could even hang onto it a little longer if you felt more comfortable doing that rather than giving it straight back.
As for MrEH's muffins, this time round he has Spiced Apple and sultana. They vary depending on what I have in - this time I had cooking apples which needed using, next time it might be the end of a packet of mixed nuts, or some dried fruit of some kind. I usually make them a bit more "breakfasty" by substituting some of the flour for porridge oats too.
Progress on the list ended up well by the way - the only thing I didn't do was the updating of the spreadsheet. Got about a two thirds of the Avon stuff delivered - in the POURING rain, I got back drenched. Was going to do the ones to my other "patch" (Mum's old area) tomorrow night but one of the ladies won't have the money so I'm doing those on Saturday now.
I have £10 in my purse
I have £3.24 credit on my mobile.
I've decided just to continue with the purse thing as from now - Mr EH's £10 went in but then went out again pretty fast on the drinks and tip on saturday night, then some shopping bits, so I will take up from where I left off I think. Mobile credit always takes a hammering around Avon delivery times.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Sorry you got so wet, the perils of that kind of job I guess, the sunshine will make up for it
.
Well I did do as many ins and outs but along they way I happened aross a lovely pair of nearly new Next shoes in a charity shop that cost me just under what it would to have another pair of my cheaper shoes re-healed :T. I was on my phone a few shops away from where I was headed so hung back to finish my call, turned around and there they were :A.
I really should do some backing today as we could do with some cakes for packed lunches and I have loads of eggs to use up. Will go have a nosy is DS's 100 cakes book. One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
