Not a bad weekend. No visitors to the library on Friday evening, until 2am in the morning when 15 or so of the usual group turned up and let a firework off in the library car park. The firework was huge and must have cost £30 plus. It went on for ages! Very impressive, but not at 2am in the morning. Called the police, priority call and they arrived an hour later at 3am, by which time they'd all gone off somewhere else. Didn't get to sleep until gone 4am, little un came in our room at 6am so suffice it to say I was shattered all day Saturday. PCSO turned up on Saturday morning and took the firework around to one of their houses so hopefully this might have had an effect. They did regular patrols all weekend and I even saw them having a walk around the library at 3.20am this morning. So, other than the firework blip the impact of regular patrols etc appears to be taking effect. What with half term, halloween and firework night approaching the police will no doubt have their work cut out everywhere! Happy Monday everyone.
