Hi,
I watched it! The piri piri chicken looked delicious, and I'll definitely be trying the Portuguese them custard tarts, we loved them when we were out there.

His book doesn't look great, I find they can be laid out in too much faffing! I prefer to watch and make it up myself laterWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. It looked pretty good, I'll have to try those tarts.
A lot of comments on the website complaining that the ingredients aren't online as people were hoping to cook along.0 -

I have to say, the book is really great.
It's quite unusual in that it is laid out as set meals (main, side, dessert) and is set out step by step. But don't let that put you off, as once you give it a go, you realise how much it makes sense!
I love the fact that it suggests a side dish - something I tend to never bother with - and it makes me feel so much healthier!
I've tried three recipes in a week (and I work 10-12 hour days at work!) and can't wait to try more.
Just my two penneth!0 -
the recipes are online.
