I watched this too and went off in search of the Piri Piri chicken recipe whilst the programme was still on
The whole menu's recipes are here http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/food/article-1312958/Jamie-Olivers-30-minute-meals-Piri-Piri-chicken-rocket-salad-dressed-potatoes-quick-Portuguese-tarts.html0 -
I am going to buy a copy of the book for DS's Christmas. He's 14 and likes cooking and he really goes for Mr Oliver's recipes. I bought him the Ministry of Food two Christmases ago and he must have tried every recipe in it.Val.0

I have a friend who really wants to learn to cook. I was going to buy her Ministry of Food for Christmas, but now I wonder if this would be better. Does anyone have both books, and if so, which do you think would be better for a beginner?0

missed it yesterday, but i read an interview on how its filmed in a normal family home thus it semms less chefy and snobby than most of the other cookery programmes on at the moment. i think jamie oliver is my favourite t chef, not because of his recipes but more because of his morals. ive been loving his series on america0

I will try this recipe next week. The chicken looks so yummy. I like the idea of the potatoes but hate sweet potatoes, do you think it would work with just normal potatoes?0
