I think it was trisontana who mentioned last week that this would be featured again on Thursday. Apparently it's going to focus on PPCs which pass their tickets off as Police Fixed Penalties.
I wonder if anyone fancies emailing Watchdog a link to our thread 'PPC tickets/threats, what to expect'? And it would be great if they could mention some firms with scam (surely criminal, against the Administration of Justice Act) names like 'Court Prosecution Ltd' who send threats for UKCPS. However we would have to point this out to Watchdog specially - as I don't think we have those chancers in our Hall of Shame yet?
I am at work at the moment but if anyone wants to send Watchdog a link to our top sticky thread please do as I think it could make their report more interesting.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Dear Watchdog team
I am a member of MARTIN LEWIS'S moneysavingexpert discussion board and I
would like to point you to some information regarding the true nature of
the private parking ticket scam and how it works.
THE BIGGEST MYTH ABOUT PRIVATE PARKING TICKETS ARE THEY THEY ARE TREATED
AS FINES.
Actually they are invoices BUT time and time again, MP's have described
them as fines when discussing private parking tickets in parliament.
Until the public and their MPs get it through their head that they are
invoice charges, the scam will continue on and on unchecked.
To read about a multitude of real life experiences of harassment and ways
of resisting these scammers and examples of scam mailings go to >>

Why not get your complaint in first, they could change the script.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
