  • Just popped in to wish everyone a Merry Christmas as guess you'll all be busy.
Joyfull - big hugs don't worry it's kinda normal - I fell on my (ample) backside in town Tuesday, thankfully dh could sort me out last night as started to hurt - so you had good cause for anxiety :)
Puppy - alcohol often gives me flushes so the list I can cope with is getting shorter, FWIW when I had a 'meltdown' in august the smell of things could make me nauseous and haven't drunk tea or coffee since, so hopefully it's just hormones and nothing more serious...

Merry meno Christmas to one and all

    Hello all,

Hope eveyone is warm & well.

Poet - hope you got your supplies sorted out. I don't do much, so don't have the stress of that - can't entertain that much in the caravan - does have its plus points - well maybe/maybe not.

Puppy - mobile homes are not that great at this time of year.....

Joyful - Hugs. The town pavements really shocked me when we managed there as they did last year - they are dreadful - record fractures last year - Grrrr, greedy supermarkets.
I threw, what can only be described as a tantrum yesterday, again & went & sat in the loo - it's frozen in there & I wouldn't come out even when Oh was trying to bribe me with coffee & cake - but I did have my salopettes on, boots & coat - sometimes things just get too much.
Shykins - lets hope that things are good next year for us menos.

Puppy - snow & ice wouldn't make you sick - I haven't been with it & we get a load - hope you're feeling much better, try & rest up. Hope all your plans come to fruition in the New year & youget that Spanish home.

nappentass - I am a lot less tolerant of alcohol than I was & don't really like it as much - so I think you have something there Think our tastes change or something.

:A:xmassign::xmassmileTo all of you wonderful women out there - here's to us.
Have a wonderful time & all the best for 2011.
    Keep warmXXX

    Hi all,
Went into town today to do last minute shopping....'cos I really don't want to go tommorow! The snow where we are is soo thick....and in town is very icy. So I was trudging around getting bits and bobs....the shops were horrendous. Got a bus back home...had to let first bus go as it was so busy. Fights nearly broke out..as people were pushing in on the bus...tempers frayed...no christmas spirit at all... oh well....

Just wanted to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS..as I may not be able to get on here for a while.

    Morning Ladies,

At b/f's house, arrived with rabbit y'day. Had a bath & hairwash this morning!!! Now, to clarify, I do keep myself clean but at home cannot actually have a bath. Oh bliss. Choille, really wish I could treat you to the same. That 'tantrum' sounds kinda familiar to me. Your OH sounds sweet, mine also has to 'manage' my meno moments and has got it down to a fine art. Do hope you are keeping warm. When the spring comes we'll be envying your lovely surroundings.

dogcat - you made me chuckle - 'fights nearly broke out...' Honestly us humans and our bad behaviour....

puppy - hope the tummy has settled in time for a little festive tipple or two.

nappentass - lovely to have you pop by. Have a really good xmas.

shykins - hugs & greeting to you and your family, don't do too much!

Bronnie - our fabulous founder! Best wishes to you too.

right, coffee time. See you all later.

Season's Greetings to Everyone and a glass raised to you all too!
(Wish the cheers smiley was a bit more lady-like! tolerance of alcohol is as it ever was here :o!)

I'm another one having my first bath in months tonight!! (DD and I are away for 2 nights now, only have a shower at home). Loving the heavily frosted scenery :snow_grin here in N Wales, although travel was fine this morning luckily.

Relax, eat, drink and be merry ladies and share the load, those of you who are looking after the family.

    Merry Christmas :xmassign:

    Love

    Well Hello everyone!:D

Hope you all had a fantastic Christmas....I know I did and I ate far too much. We played lots of board games, watched lots of tv....and drank lots.

I bought my daughter a couple of new games for the Wii (dance and keep fit) I just know that they're gonna come in useful.....:o

I hope everyone is feeling ok...and that the snow has cleared.
We've had quite a bit of rain which has melted the snow, so it's now possible to venture outside without fear of breaking an ankle.
    Keep warm and happy.....:D

Hello all - Well thankfully the weather has warmed up after all th efreezing stuff.

Joyful & Bronnie - well I've had a bath today too - went down to the holiday house I caretake & wel happened to just check if the water was okay & fell in a hot bath! Felt naughty but nice.
Joyful - Hope you & bunny had a nice break at BF's & Bronnie hope you enjoyed Wales too.

Dogcat it's rained most of the day & taken all the ice away - thankfully. We have further snow forecast for next week. I hope they are wrong as I feel less tolerent this year, although it will be next year by then!

Puppy - hope you're feeling a bit better.
Maybe you should go see the doc & talk things through.
I don't get the sweats now but my mood is not great & I haven't had a lot of energy but that is my mid-winter mode - I sort of shut down. I do feel better if I get outside but I haven't been doing that much of that as it wasn't fit to do much until the last few days.

We traeted ourselves to an electric blanket as it's been so cold at night & that has helped a lot - getting into a warm bed.
Hope you all had a good, peceful XMas & let's all have a great New Year.
    All the bestX

    Hello menos,

Me and bunny have been well ensconced in b/f's cosy house complete with bath and log fire. Hee hee! I've discovered with time away from sitting at computer that my back pain is almost non existent, so will ease off the internet stuff..

Choille - you made me & b/f chuckle ' fell into hot bath....' I say, fall in more often! welcome to the wonderful world of electric blankets, they are bliss.

Greetings dogcat and puppy. Hot flushes, for me have lasted well over 5 years but... dare I say it.... seem to easing. Not the blast of 'furnace like' heat many many times a day and night, but still enough to send me outside into cold air or stand by a fan. Personally I'm pleased I didn't go down the hormone route and just tolerated them, although I fully sympathise with anyone who goes that way, as they can be pretty unbearable particularly with no sleep.

New year will be it's usual non event for us. I'm just looking forward to seeing my 1st snowdrops as it always cheers thing up. Been drinking too much tea and I find tea not coffee really keeps me awake at night.

We're off to hopefully get a bale of hay for rabbit & have a coffee out. Happy new year menos.
