Shykins - hope you are feeling better/ brighter. Horrible feeling like that, I know.
Hope folks are well slept.
Rain on here - looks set for the day. Off out with dogs in a minute.
Have had PMT b00bs for nearly 2 weeks now - the hot and ag kind. Can't believe that I am hoping for a period but I am. Last one was August. My sister said she went once went for 59 days with sore boobs during menopause (not that she was counting).
Hope you all have something nice to do today.

shykins - Sorry the sleeplessness. I hate that the most. I have been pushing myself to get outside & get stuff done no matter how horrid it is. But, still my sleep isn't unbroken, although I did have a good one the other day. I haven't had a flush for three days now I think! Well all that can be is the cold weather or the menopace kicking in or it just is, but what ever I am really pleased about that.
I just see to wake up really early & then doze on and off all night, weird dreams too, but more fascinating than scary. I have been going to bed early as I am so tired but I think I'll try & stay up late - sound like a teenager eh? Feel like a octogeniarian though.
The aches and pains are still a problem - will try & get some chronidin - or what ever it's called with the glucosimine, it seemed pretty expensive when I looked the other day. Anyone have any tips where I can get that cheaper?
I used to get really painful breasts for many years until I took evening primrose oil & vit E & it did work for me because if I didn't they would come back. They used to go like bricks - really hard & swollen & quite sore.
I wish we had a bath, or even a shower in the caravan. I've been pulling dead wood about & a hot soak would be nice.
Have a good day all.0 -
lol choille. i thought i would stay up late too been trying that all week and i am getting about 5hrs sleep before the hot flushes start. better but not brilliant, its worth trying

Thanks choille. I deleted my post cos it sounded so moany!
I'm fine. Could be worse is the way to look at it I suppose! just the hassle factor now.

Bronnie - You certianly didn't sound moany, not even a wee bit. You would have had every right to have a good whinge about it - hope it isn't too hassley to sort out.
Not a bad day. Been outdoors gathering up dead wood for the stove & just tidying up a bit. Still no sweats - dar I hope I've got ridof them?
Hope so.0 -
Hi all,
hope you've all had a good weekend?
It was supposed to be dry and sunny today, wonder where that went, it's rained most of the day today. Yesterday was ok and so had a nice walk up to the village.
Choille, Wilkinsons have the cheapest supplements i have found anywhere.
Hope everyone else's hot or cold moments are not too bad.
I take my hat off to you living in the mobile home at this time of year. I also love my bath and shower and couldn't do without either.
My DD has been over for lunch today which was really nice, I do get lonely at weekends since I don't know anyone round here. Probably why I have itchy feet and want to move. I asked DD where she'd prefer I moved to and she said the West Country. I have been thinking about going back to the village I moved from but she thinks it's too boring there!
The estate agent is bringing viewer no.1 round tomorrow so will see what happens.
Good night on tv tonight, Strictly, x factor (although going off it a bit) and the Jungle. :T
Edit to add, I think the magnet is working, I've not had a flush for a couple of days. I also bought one of those Yantra mats. It's a bit like laying on one of those prickly doormats - at first. Think it is helping with relaxation thoughMortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Hi all,
I slept well last night...but I have a very stange feeling today...one that I've never had before. I feel very 'down' today...almost tearful, and I don't know why. I have no reason to feel like this. I just want to be quite and not really talk to everyone. They keep asking me 'whats wrong' and I say nothing. Whats wrong with me?:eek:0 -
Hi Spirit - glad the magnet appears to be working.
I don't think that we have a Wilkinson's here - I've never seen one.
Unfortuantely we have to live as we do until the house is finished. I am starting to resent it now in some ways.
Dogcat - Hope that the down feeling passes soon. It can be due to hormonal fluctuations. It's not nice so I hope those around about you are being nice. Take care & be kind to yourself.
All the best.0 -
bronnie didnt see your post but hope all is ok. dont ever worry about moaning on here we all have/will at some point
