evening everybody
there seems to be something in the air today - lots of you are struggling one way or another - so hugs all roundOn a positive note for myself I should find out on Thursday whether I've got a job at another Centre which will bring my hours back to I-can-manage-financially range. Fingers crossed.
My progress is V-E-R-Y slow but there is progress, and what gets cleared stays cleared...
ajmoney i hope the meds kick in soon - are you taking as much as you can? you may have to take the full dose of each until it starts to work and then you could cut it down?
hollyh you need to change your pin number or something - thats terrible (((hugs)))Got cracking with kitchen this morning. My dad just called round in 'thambulance and commented how clean and tidy it was:D
Nothing like a compliment to spur you on!
xxJoxx thanks for the message from Lady L - :hello:LadyL :hello:we are thinking of you :hello:all the time honey :hello:and I send you my biggest squishiest hug :hello:and loads of love as always:hello: xxxx:hello:
xxJoxx you need a hug (((((hug)))))) if you cant rant here where can you rant honey - get it of your chest - if sis is trying to help then yes put up a list and get her to strike of what she does - i hope she will get addicted - she lives there and needs to take her share of responsibility - she should be doing her own room, her own washing and ironinging and making her own food. - she should also IMHO be helping with everywhere else she uses - it wont kill her and you are probably being toooooooooooooooooo soft! get her into some good habits like washing up after meals, tidying the LR at bedtime, making her own lunches up, emptying bins etc it will all help you keep up with things.
Get those shoes sorted in your bedroom and it will be finished and you will have another tidy room (I know you said you have already done S's room) and then you can carry on with the dining room - try not to start new projects until you have finished one. Well done to you for trying to help Lo with his schoolwork - I hope the extra hour after school helps - you are a great Mum so dont be worrying - you do all the right things by him and I am sure the situation with your sis will work out - you just need to nudge her in the right direction to becoming your apprentice flylady xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
tooch oooh thats a little Lo!!! 3lbs - thats not much more than a bag of sugar!
Shysarah - hope the stones are behaving now - take it easy for a while
PenPen sorry to hear about your choir lady - she will be singing with the angels now (((hugs)))
I was at Cornhill today and it was very interesting - we had a professional artist who showed us how to paint on a feather - I didnt think i could do it but she took us through it step by step and the end result is passable!!! we all followed her and painted a kingfisher!
have blitzed the soup that i made last night and its all ready for the freezer.
emptied the DW
phoned the carers office
had a call from my cousin S
been across to the shop

I had a breakthrough earlier. The pain went slightly, but has come back with force again. It might have been slightly my fault as I put the washing up away, OH told me off when he came in and I will NOT be doing it again in a hurry. The doc suggested I only take the full dose of painkillers at bedtime due to the side effects so I am following those orders, I will address it with them tomorrow about maybe taking more of them. I think it is the diazepam that is starting to help as the pain has returned even though I have taken more painkillers since.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1931.07/£2700

Evening all
I'm done for the day, can't face the ironing or shoe polishing so that can be done tomorrow. I've lit the fire as it's real chilly this evening.
Jo- I admire you alot and you deserve a hug x
Toots - I've never heard of painting on a feather, it sound tricky
Aj painfree vibes for you, I think the diazepam will have a cumulatie affect the more you take. The dose is low (standard for what you are using it for I would imagine). Are you getting any sleep?
PenPen hugs for your loss
Going to do a little knitting and then an early night I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
well done pavlovs dog - the more you do the easier it gets each week - you will get there I am sure.
aj probably the Diazepam is making the spasm relax and so easing the pain - just a guess - Did you see 'Duncan'? or was it 'Dunbar'?
doing some crocheting - not much like housework but i am getting rid of the wool bit by bit!
