  • Just looked at todays list which I'll be tackling tomorrow as been out all day apart from two 20 minute periods-(one of which involved doing DD's reading and the other eating a quick tea before going out again) and now I'm going to have nightmares-my hob is clean but the oven is a horrenodus mess and I don't know how I'm going to get it clean!!! However it would be good to be able to see through the glass door again!
    Any tips on oven cleaning???

Aj painfree vibes for you, I think the diazepam will have a cumulatie affect the more you take. The dose is low (standard for what you are using it for I would imagine). Are you getting any sleep?

Dustykitten I was led to believe the diazepam and tramadol would make me sleepy and the instructions for the diazepam say about getting enough sleep (although maybe for other complaints, but I am lucky if I get 2 hours sleep before I have to move downstairs and doze upright in a chair.
aj probably the Diazepam is making the spasm relax and so easing the pain - just a guess - Did you see 'Duncan'? or was it 'Dunbar'?

It was HMS Duncan and yes I saw the band for a couple of seconds on Reporting Scotland last night.

    Evening all,

Hope your meds work quickly & soon aj
Lots of hugs to those that need them, I've only had chance to skim the thread quickly, so I hope everyone who isn't doing so well this week feels better soon.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes at the weekend, had a good one!

Valli - had to comment (better late than never) on your Mum calling round when your 'curtains were closed', made me 'lol'! The night before DS's birthday (when he was toddler age) I'd got him to bed early & so DH & I got in the shower together, purely from a water-saving point of view of course. :D We forgot to lock the front door & were mortified to discover a small pile of cards & pressies on the stairs, left by MIL while we were 'saving water'. :o:o Oh well, serves her right for walking in without knocking!

    My list:
    :jMON & TUES ALL DONE:j

    Jobs:
    Garden:
    [STRIKE]add compost[/STRIKE] & sow winter salad

    Tidy back garden (almost done)
    Tidy side garden
    Tidy front garden
    The rest:
write letters: Joy, Julie, Mand, Nancy
    do some coursework (ongoing)
    Family History:
    transcribe WW2 diary
    check Navy record

    Hi again all

Thanks - Im sorry about earlier, I was just having a bit of a moan.... She is good in lots of ways and she does help with lots of things. I dont think me worrying about the little one is helping, think im just letting everything get to me at the minute.

I keep meaning to say - I hope everything checks themselves this week in support of Shysarah (I think thats who it was...sorry, I cant remember!) I had a biopsy when I was 24 so you are never too young to check yourself out!! xx

Anyway - have done the dishes, tidied the kitchen, got lunchboxes looked out for tomorrow. Done little ones spelling and dictionary words. Gone through more laundry, took relevant piles up to each room, straighten up little ones room before bed. Read some more of his book then packed him off to bed. Swept the kitchen, put away the dishes and washed the pots which were soaking.

Just about to straighten the living room before going to bed.

    Night all xx

Curlytop dont expect miracles if its really bad - at least try to get it a bit cleaner and do it regularly and you will find it will come right. take the racks out and soak them in the bath in very hot water with bio washing powder as long as you can - like overnight - they will still need a scrub but should be easier. I think a lot of flyers use ............ Oh heck I cant remember - thats a lot of help!!!! and its really good - help me someone.................
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

  • AJ with the diazepam and tramadol they didnt make me sleepy at all, just made me very spaced out. if they dont take the edge off everything by tomorrow go back to the docs asap as they can do higher doses or different pain medication, there is no point in being in that much pain when the doctors can sort out the doseage.

hope you manage to get some sleep tonight xx
