  • Good morning  I've been watching the Chilean miners being rescued - what a great result :T Brought a tear to my eye as I know how the families feel, with DH having been away for nearly 6 weeks now :(
PenPen sorry to hear about your choir lady - she will be singing with the angels now

DS1 off with the runs - still going to the toilet - so still off school - he was up a few times in the night - then DS2 was also up - wet beds and painful mouth / tongue. So he's off too. I'm using this morning to catch up on sleep AND to get ready for my interview - lets hope I don't fall asleep half way through! x
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

vanilla what a night you've had!
penpen we've been watching too - DD thinks it's amazing.

Am hoping to actually do some proper flying here later on, the last couple of days I've been concentrating on some sewing I promised a neighbour, but I think I've broken the back of it. :)

hugs/spoons/sticks to those that need them :D

Didn't manage to get Daddy's strimmer last night but he's gonna have a look today and put new eyes on it, if he can find any. Then he'll leave it up to me. :D

Plan now is cuppa and start the hedge cutting. It's abit misty here this morning but i think it will lift soon.

OK I have been away on holiday. Had a fantastic time. DGD loved the beach and the swimming pool. Came back to good news from the council that I may be being rehoused at last. So now its not just a massive catch up on the housework its going to have to be a declutter as well.
I may need to rope in as many of the family/friends as possible to help me, due to my physical problems! But its got to start.
So i am off to the front of the thread to see what I am supposed to have been doing this week, and see if it will give me a kick in the proverbial, and get me started.
housework after 2 weeks away, is just Groan groan, ugg!!

I hope to catch up reading later, but if I start, I will never get anything done, and i have a visitor today due. So I need a major fly around.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

I feel your despair. I'm sure you remember my extended drain saga from last year. Good luck

I'm gripped by the rescue too. Have a hug for holding up so well. Any news of when DH is home? Mine is back Thursday but he's only been for a few days this time but DS3 is really missing him.

Off to change the trumpet today and do a bit of shopping so not much flying on the cards. I'll put a wash on before I go and do the ironing later. Upstairs is all done so I'll start downstairs tomorrow.

    Recycling done
    WM done on clean cycle

Need to refill the log basket too

I got the Governor post:j Think I may have been the only one who applied ;)

Toots - hope you are not too tired after the text message, can you put your phone on silent at night?
