    Afternoon all

I've done all the bedrooms today. My bedding is out on the line, along with another load of washing, but it's pretty cloudy and the wind is cool so it's not drying particularly quickly.

Still catching up, hope everyone's OK.

I've managed a Mr T shop this morning with a screaming child, he hates shops. :rotfl:

Spoke to my dad and we're borrowing his strimmer until saturday so gardens will be my mission over the next couple of days, i'm really looking forward to it looking lovely again. :D

I've also decluttered a 2 hour snooze, hubby not been sleeping so i've now been sleeping right. He thinks he may be heading for hospital again. Things are not looking good. :(

Right suppose i should go and sort some washing and take the curtains in front hall down.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

One bedroom to go and the shower room to finish.

Sun has come out so that has spured me on, I could get HHG done if I get a wiggle on.

    Hi All

Hope you are all good - TC im so sorry! Thats awful...I dont have any advice but Im thinking of you! Hopefully you will win the lottery and can buy new ones....and a new van....and a new house... scrap that - you wont need the tools cos you wont have to work anyway! I am sorry hun xx

Im in real need of a rant...sorry!

Im working full time with a little one as most of you know. Which is hard enough, keeping on top of the house, work little one, as well as his activities and everything else. Ive been trying desperately these last few weeks to clear out the house as well as keep on top of the daily list and not take away time with the little one as well.

We leave for work in the morning, drop my sister off left right and centre (who came to live with us in June) then I have to go out at night to pick her up again.... Come home around 6, get tea on, do a wash, start pigpens list, tidy the kitchen, do homework/reading/spelling, have tea, go pick my sister up from work, if she hasnt been collected already. then its bathtime/bedtime/reading with little one, then back to cleaning/sorting/shredding/tidying.

Little one is now struggling at school, which isnt helping - which Work have been really good about and have changed my hours no questions asked, so thankfully, I can pick him up every day now meaning we can spend more time at home together working on his school work. But it just doesnt seem to matter how hard I try....the place is a flipping pit.

I tidyed the LR night before....with the intention of being able to go home last night and quickly hoover and polish round.....No!! My sister was off yesterday and was only trying to help....but had been doing all her laundry. Some was on the line, which she had hung out. Typically by the time I got home it had rained! There was piles of stuff all folded all over the LR which had specifically been left hung up so they could just be put on hangers and put away - they now need to be ironed. She overloaded the washing machine putting on another wash....I swear when it came out it was actually dry!

The LR now just looks worse than it did in the first place. The kitchen was covered in laundry, which was either sopping wet from the washing line, or bone dry from the washing machine! The dining room is a pit cos Ive started it but not finished it. My bedroom is almost sorted but covered in Shoes which I need to go through.... I didnt know whether to laugh or cry so simply went to bed. I know she is just tyring to help but shes not.

I think when I go home tonight, Im clearing off the pin board in the kitchen and sticking last weeks full list to it.....that way shes not unclear about what needs to be done. I also wasted time standing cooking tea for her which she didnt show up for. I think I also need to tell her she needs to sort her self out her own food.

I dont want to moan at her, cos otherwise she is sooooo good and I know its my house so some things are not for her to worry about....but Ive asked her not to fold the laundry, as she cant fold.... I know it sounds petty, but its one stop short of being crumpled, so ive asked her not to bother! Im not her mum and dont expect her to report to me every 5 minutes but if she knows Im standing cooking her food surely its common courtesy just to let me know she wont be there!?

The short version of the story is, I wasted my time and the house is a tip......

Im sorry for moaning - I know some people have much bigger problems xx
