    Annie56, your hunk sounds lovely.:j

Good luck for tomorrow, I hope things go smoothly and hope you are enjoying your day out. :)

;) Felines are my favourite ;)
  • I have just spent the last hour catching up on all the posts that have gone on since yesterday morning.

Hope the trip to the seaside goes well Annie & good luck with the court tomorrow. You have had a lot to cope with in the last few weeks & you deserve some fun.

My weekend was good & bad.
The bad was that I spent all day in my shop for one sale of £4.00.
Was feeling really down when I got home as I am half way through the month and my takings are non existent.
The good news however out weighs the bad.
My daughter who is a nurse now has her shifts sorted for Christmas & New Year so her & her husband & my two grandsons are coming for the day on Boxing Day.
This will be first time they have been to see me at Christmas for 3 years so I now have something to plan for.
I never have gone overboard at Christmas but I shall now buy & cook a gammon joint to go with the turkey leftovers.
Also felt inspired to make pickled nectarines & pickled pears to have with the cold meats so these are now sitting there maturing.

Also on Sunday I cooked lunch for a friend & we went for a walk & it was lovely to get out in the fresh air.
It really is the little things that make all the difference.

If the sods in Downing Stree were half as decent and wise as the ladies in this forum, then the country would be a far better & fairer place to live in. And I hope the sods read this !
And I too hope there will be a LOT of civil unrest !

I sell & hire evening dresses, prom dresses & bridesmaid dresses & I also sell a wide range of accessories including evening & wedding shoes, jewellery & evening bags.
At the moment I am in the shop laminating posters to go out to local schools during the Christmas holidays, along with other info, about my prom dresses. I like to get ahead.
