grrr I'll cross tonight - swapped energy supplier to edf last month and just got my first bill and they have put me on the wrong tariff - glad I check though as it was £30 more than it should have been!
Our usage is still shockingly high and I'll really not sure why so getting an energy monitor to keep and eye on things better - though average per day is down on same time last year at least.
27% of staff at work being made redundant a direct result of govt cuts to area based grants to local council with a further 12.5% in march. I'm safe in this round, but who knows...People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I was in my thirties, had already had several outpaitient treatments as well as loads of antibiotics which just wrecked my digestive system and my metabolism and the doctor said it was surgery or put up with it.
Someone else had successful acupunture treatment for hay fever, so I thought I would try it.
Twenty years later, I am still fine.
I have had surgery for sinusitis/rhinitus about 24 years ago - from my own experience I'd say that its not an op to be considered lightly as you can end up with pain with dry sinuses in summer and pretty much permanent numbness to your nose and lips . . . that said - I would go through it all again! The relief from pain and pressure made it worth it!
You can buy inhalant cups from chemists - much cheaper than this from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Flents-Vapor-Deluxe-Personal-Vaporizer/dp/B001G3WRV0 - a bit like a childs sipper cup but with a small mask attachment to fit around your mouth and nose - you can infiltrate your poor sore sinuses with soothing steam and watch telly at the same time - result!:heartpuls The best things in life aren't things :heartpuls

:j Have been to Asda and Morrisons today and managed to get some real bargain whoopsies.!!
Have sat and worked out our years energy use and worked out that we have used £1500 over the year, and that was before I started really cutting back, so I have been online and reduced the direct debit by £20 a month which will compensate for the increase in council tax this month!!
Went to meeting at school and it became very clear that DS mainstream school were not willing to take him back, at least not yet, they were also "unaware" that they were still receiving his 10 hours of additional funding or that the authority expects schools to match it. Outcome is that DS will stay in the school he is at now spending more and more time in their mainstream class allowing staff to form a judgement as to what he will need next year, with the aim of returning him full time to his old school in Sept. The current school will request a transfer of the funding which will allow them to provide support for him, which can transfer with him in Sept, if he goes back. TBH I have pretty much decided to leave him in the current school unless old school really pull their socks up, his current school staff were clearly appalled at their attitude and very quickly stopped trying to help them out of the hole they had dug themselves. The Ed Psych was brilliant and much better than the previous one and was very practical and supportive.
Slightly embarrassed as I cried at several points during the meeting as remembering how bad the past had been I couldnt cope. Not helped that I had a call during the meeting asking me to collect DS12 from school as he had a headache - 45mins before end of school!!
And they will mark his attendance down as a half day absence.
Dehumidifiers - really need some advice if anyone has one, we live in a large 5 bed detached house, with a double garage attached - my bedroom above garage. The worst room is my room, and there is very little cladding between garage and bedroom. I have seen some dehumidifiers that say for large houses and some that simply state square footage. Was wondering if I buy one that is for say four bedrooms would that be sufficient to do upstairs which is the worst affected.0 -
I woke up this morning to find both my wing mirrors have been ripped off my car and the casings have been smashed and kicked down the road, another car also had theirs hanging off but were salvagable.
Oh it doesn't rain but it pours at the moment, OH has left again, want to stay together only see me a few times a week, we are now not engaged anymore as i whined about the ring (he didn't actually look at any rings nor take the hint of the £45 one i liked in H samuals and got the first one he saw in cash converters which is scratched, 3 sizes too big, cost £75 and is really ugly) He looked in the window of Hsamuals and decided they were too expensive!
we went back to take it back to cashrobbers and they would only give me £7 for it, im being ungreatfull for wanting a 'new' ring and not wearing his, i cant wear it unless i keep my hand constantly raised to stop it falling off.
I may sound pretty pendantic but as he saved and saved and saved for his ex's ring having a 2nd hand piece of tat just really hurts on every level.
Baby is due in around 14 weeks and although he says he wants to stay together I just feel im nothing more than a glorified f***buddy0 -
Oh lauren things dont sound good, big hugs. On a practical note if you contact a local scrap yard you should be able to replace your damaged ones fairly cheap, and as you are pregnant they will sometimes take pity and fit them for you too. I have built a good relationship with our local scrap yard and they are really helpful now.0
