DS1 is buying 32 inch flat screens to put on bedroom walls for a 4 & 2 year olds bedrooms :eek::eek::eek::mad::mad:. Crazy, they won't appreciate them, they don't need them and I'm like, what's the point.........????????????????
DS1 not speaking to me now. Hopefully he'll get over it. I was'nt nasty about it, just voiced an opinion which he asked for. Oh well.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crumbs, I am with you on that one. Unfortunately they will expect bigger and better every year. A bad precedent to set so young.
  • I wouldn't want a 32inch flat screen on my bedroom wall - I go there to sleep not watch TV...

I suppose we should be grateful that we have freedom of choice and are allowed to spend money on whatever we want...

I am interested how an OS style crimbo lunch works. I don't want to spend more than £50 really (and even that winds me up because I usually spend £50 a week - which I know is quite extravagant... but oh well, I don't drink or smoke I guess))

Exactly, they already have a 50" on the wall in the family room. Jeez Pokemon brings back memories. remember buying the Nintendo 64 limited Pikachu edition about 9 or 10 years ago for DS3 & DS4.
Back then it was Pokemon Gold & Silver for the Nintendo Gamebou Colour:eek:.
DS4 still has Nintendo in the original box, at 19 though, don't think he uses it :rotfl::rotfl:

50" TV???!!! 32" TVs for little kids???!! Nope I don't get it.. I had a small TV in my room from when I was about 12 I think, wouldn't have one in the bedroom now - bedroom is for sleeping (and other stuff of course ;))

Even the one in our living room is smaller than 32" :o

Thought it might have been Soul Silver or Heart Gold. At least he has plenty of time to save up for it then. (It's not due out till Spring 2011 in Europe). Will need to keep an eye out for cheap pre-orders, I think I picked up HG for about £25 when rrp was £39. I am a BIG Pokemon fan. If he wants a chat get him to contact me. ;o)

Does he like the trading cards at all ?

He does - spends hours arranging an rearranging them - LOL

This does Xmas week for a family of 4 for £25, but if you dont like some of the stuff i guess its adaptable for your own tastes.
  • (and other stuff of course ;))

Like fighting the cat off the duvet so you can go to bed, napping on Sunday afternoons, and dozing while dinner is cooking on school nights you mean?? :A
