Thanks for the suggestions, Ezzie. I know the router's OK as I can get here. Tried the number but that's for probs with Orange Broadband or dial-up. We're with Virgin, I just happen to have an Orange E-mail address as it was too much hassle to change. There are a couple of other sites I can't get to - EG Screwfix, which may be on the same server as Orange - but most of my favourites are working OK. I'll just have to be patient, I think.
MG, you seem to have Christmas pretty well organised! Really must start getting my act together as I've only scratched the surface so far.
Thing is I didn't think I was organised at allOnly after being stuck in the house with the littlies have I found out that I actually am.
Got one slow cooker on the go to make chicken stock for Xmas gravy and the other is full of braising red cabbage - with all the cloves and cinnamon it even smells festive in here today. Both will get stashed in the freezer to make life simple later.
OMG that reminds me - I've got an apple and cinnamon candle stashed away for DS1 for Xmas eve. Off to find it and hide it with the rest.
Parentals have got - a box set of Barbara Taylor Bradford movies. Mum always watches "A woman of Substance" when she is feeling bleurgh - but as they no longer have a video player she gave away all her movies. £6.99 bargain for the 5.
Dad has got "The Top-Cat Collection" - all the Top Cat episodes :rotfl: He's the biggest kid in the house at Xmas anywaysBigger bargain - £4.99 from Charity Shop.
One of the mentors has just commented that seeing as I am so organised I should be able to deliver the new book by the new Year:eek::eek:. I havent even begun my reseach for it yet!!!!!

I think its the "Black and White" one. Pokemon is his absolute passion - he knows all the names and how they trade up and everything.
His DSi is his pride an joy - he cares for it like you'd care for a baby.
But he doesn't have masses of toys so I should be gratefull that this has been an ongoing "magnificant obsession":D

Yeah I have!!!!
Thay would like me to rejig the students book to make it the "go-to-book" for MBA students worldwide (well English speaking world anyways)
I haven't actually sat down with peeps involved in MBA programmes to find out whats involved and what needs to be changed yet - but I'm guessing its a major re-jig with a few more chapters added.

Christmas, sorted :rotfl:
Presents for kids and grandkids all bought and wrapped and stashed in black bin liners in the cupboard. Last 8 gifts courtesy of Bitsy Bean arrived through post and wrapped and stashed today.
Not a clue about food, toying with the idea of the OS Xmas dinner courtesy of Weevil & Co.
This year though, I chose everything instead of giving in to demands or allowing kids to dictate, all I have done is confirm what's been bought so that things are'nt duplicated.
DS1 is buying 32 inch flat screens to put on bedroom walls for a 4 & 2 year olds bedrooms :eek::eek::eek::mad::mad:. Crazy, they won't appreciate them, they don't need them and I'm like, what's the point.........????????????????
DS1 not speaking to me now. Hopefully he'll get over it. I was'nt nasty about it, just voiced an opinion which he asked for. Oh well.............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

Thought it might have been Soul Silver or Heart Gold. At least he has plenty of time to save up for it then. (It's not due out till Spring 2011 in Europe). Will need to keep an eye out for cheap pre-orders, I think I picked up HG for about £25 when rrp was £39. I am a BIG Pokemon fan. If he wants a chat get him to contact me. ;o)
Does he like the trading cards at all ?0
