Hi MG I have a Pudsy Bandana somewhere, though the spots may be out of proportion for a small bear. Will try and look it out. Otherwise it is just blue, green red and yellow polka dots so you might be able use your "colouring in" skills on a piece of white fabric

Thats a good idea - think one of my friends has some fabric pens that I could use.

Just wondering - I get the impression you had not done a seminar for some time, is it possible that your throat is partly reacting to having to work harder?

:hello:Delurking to say hello and introduce myself!

I'm finally up to date with this thread, having started from the very first thread. I've been on MSE nearly five years, and am usually found on the OS Flylady thread - which is where I found this mentioned. (Hi Triker, boddy, greenbee and Craftyscholar!)

In real life, I'm a teacher - Modern Languages.

I would very much like to join the Matrix, and I'm also booking a place on the London seminar for DS2.

Although I'm not planning to start a business, I have always been very interested in women networking - so may I play as well? :D

Not according to the doc - def tonsillitis and it started before I started talking last weekend IYSWIM.

Feels bit better today - but still a bit "breaky".

    CAN ANYONE HELP ????

I need to get from here (say Edinburgh) to Manchester for Saturday 27th (next Saturday). I have an offer of a room either the Friday night or Saturday night.

The flight comparison sites are driving me crazy - too many whizzy things for a dyslexic feeliing ropey.

I can drive there in about 4.5 hours and it will cost me about £70 in petrol - the advantage being able to carry OHP and screen if needed, plus 3 more kit bags of kits that have just arrived.

Can anyone figure out a cheaper way of doing the trip?

Have you checked out trains? Not so good for taking luggage but might work out cheaper.

  • Ok flights are £67.85 down and £98.41 back but that would require staying two nights (I have only looked at Flybe at the moment)

[STRIKE]£51.50 each way on the train by the looks of it at about 3 and a half hours - haven't looked for any deals as such yet[/STRIKE]

theres an £80 open return and a couple of £29 tickets but this may mean staying more than one night is this possible?

Ok this is what I've got so far for £58

    Out:

12:52 (Fri 26 Nov) Edinburgh Waverley (EDB) to Manchester Piccadilly (MAN)
    1 change(s)

    Return:

14:46 (Sun 28 Nov) Manchester Piccadilly (MAN) to Edinburgh Waverley (EDB)
    1 change(s)

Of you can get £58 off peak return which gives you quite a few times to chose from...

Totally off-topic but could one of you do me a favour and see if you can connect to www.orange.co.uk? My e-mail isn't picking-up so I thought I'd try going to my webmail account but can't connect to Orange either. I suspect it's their site which has a problem but if one of you can get a connection I may need to quietly panic!

    Thanks
