  • Robsmum, I only asked because if you transfer already-made preserves into new jars, they won't keep so well as they will in the jars that they were put into fresh and hot, IYSWIM? Also the jars don't seal properly. Wouldn't want your lovely HM gifts to go mouldy! If you are going to transfer some into new jars, it might be best to heat it up again (and the jars too) first.

    Hope this helps!

What kind of wallpaper Claire? What colours and how many rolls?

Having a bleurgh kind of day today with the runny nosed offspring - but feeling very left out that I didn't receive a dodgy email. Maybe the Web Angels whizzy bits scrubbed it out before it got to me................

............... mind you, for all the faff about security on the Matrix forum (double passwords and hiding it from bots so that we can just talkand talk and talk and can't be seen and hacked) is begining to make sense.

So I've moved my utilities to another supplier - saved £11 per moth

Got quoted £29.50 per month for contacts - managed to source them online for £6.32 per month instead. Saved £23.18 per month.

    TOTAL SO FAR £34.18

Now I need to gird my wotsits and do the mobile, I'm with Orange on Racoon 15 (SIM only) deal. 100 anytime any network texts and 300 anytime minutes. £15 per month.

Anyone know how I can get more minutes and texts for my money whilst keeping my old number?

My carpet is cream so any colour really or neutral, theres not much wall to cover so I would say 2 or 3 rolls if it doesn't have a pattern in it.

    Help please -
My friend of 29 years has asked me to give her a character ref. Long story shortened she did 3 years of nursing training then because of a traumatic assault was unable to take her finals. Has now plucked up the courage to stop being a victim (her words not mine) and get back out there. She's been accepted for a job as a support worker.
I've been able to vouch for her 'attitude' and 'honesty'
Next 1 is 'Integrity' (which i can vouch for as well) but I'm not sure how to word it.
Just need a couple of lines which express it properly.
Any ideas.................?????????? Please & thankyou :)

I'm with Orange as well MG, I simply called them and asked them what they could offer me for the same money per month. I got for £15-350 minutes, anytime, any network, unlimited landline minutes, 6 magic numbers (unlimited calls to OH and best friend), 300 text messages plus 1000 text messages as a goodwill gesture. They even threw in 80MG free internet use. When you call Orange costumer services, just follow the number for 'leaving orange', once there tell them that a rival company offered you more minutes and messages that's why you're leaving but hey otherwise you are very happy with orange and want to stay with them so is there any deal they can offer you? I called back 3 times, every time they offered me different things, the third one I liked and accepted. I was on racoon 15 as well- it's still called racoon 15 but they gave me loyalty extra minutes and msgs. Hope this helps.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
    That's good!
I'm on Orange PAYG and I don't use it enough to make it worth switching but DD2 was costing a fortune with PAYG on her mobile so I switched her to Tesco mobile
500 minutes, unlimited texts and unlimited browsing for £10 per month. Her friends are impressed. Might switch DD1 to that as well so she phones home from uni a bit more often
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
