Just a quick post tonight - have run out of time.

Have loved the discussion on The Secret - not sure what I think. Have read it once and about to start a second time, but have to say since I found MG's MDAM and now this thread and The Secret I have been much more positive and slowly changes are beginning to happen.

I have an interview tommorow for a job I'd love.

I can't join The Matrix either, I PM'd MG and she said a password was on it's way and not had anything since:( Where are my emails going.

Thanks for that, I will bung them in then:D

I have taken my roast chicken apart for the first time and have had a think what I am going to do with it, rather than throw it away:eek: Chicken risotio tomorrow and then a curry, I think. Need to think about what to do with the carcass though, never made stock before.

Also, all you crafters any idea where I can get some cellophane? I am making chocolate butterflies and castles for the littlies in my families for Christmas. They will be covered in marshmallows ect. I want them to look like a proper pressie and can find ribbons and bows but not something to wrap them in to help with freshness.

I look forward to your sugegstions.

Have been inspired by the thread to acquire a breadmaker and someone haskindly advertised one on freecycle. Have messaged them in the hope I might be succesful:j. Erm now to show my ignorance because I havent got a clue, where do you get yeast from. ??????????:)

I buy mine in the little 7g sachets, don't buy a brand like Hovis as they aren't any better than the supermarkets own brand ;)

    Hi Guys,

Anyone know if you can freeze these? I know MG has talked about freezing muffins before but I have never done it to any of my baking.

We had a lovely cream tea for lunch but I have a few left and dont want them to go to waste.

    Sx

Yep you can freeze scones although I confess whenever I've made them myself they don't hang around long enough :o

Feel REALLY tired today. TADA list:

    made apple pies
had a declutter (along with a moan to H about the amount of bloomin' toys the kids have got :o)
couple of loads of washing done and hung on line.
    helped H with the ironing

Feeling a bit low as DS had another meltdown about leaving my mums house after a visit (he's got ASD). Lots of screaming, shouting and told me he doesn't want to live with us :( I know he doesn't really mean it but it's upsetting to hear regardless - all because of the new cat! Anyway new day tomorrow so will start the day afresh then.

I think Hobbycraft sell it or you could try a local florist.

so long as its just the scones, yes, you can freeze them. Most baked stuff freezes Ok, but will dry out a fair bit when defrosted.
