My mother used to get very cross with someone who always said "The Lord will provide". She thought it had little to do with the Lord, and everything to do with other people. In as much as we are all part of the universe, other people providing could be interpreted as the universe providing!!!!!!!!

Think I'd better stop now as I am probably spouting a lot of tosh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is good - made me think. The Lord (or the Universe) do provide - but most of the time what is provided are opportunities. If we don't spot them or are not prepared to use them the blame can't go to God or the Universe, really:rotfl:.

Less than 100ml... the bottle has to be less than 100ml size too... if it's a big bottle with a tiny bit of liquid in it will still get confiscated.

My mum flew to Ireland with Ryanair. She decanted her shampoo etc. into the 100ml bottles bought from the supermarket as per safety regulations (she couldn't find any minis of what she uses and she has to be careful as she has a very sensitive scalp). She got there fine, but on the way back when the air hostesses were checking the bags, they told her that she couldn't bring back the remainder with her as they said that they couldn't be certain what was in them as there were no brand label on them. When she pointed out that she had come with them and that they had already been booked through once, with no problems, and that having a label on it was no real deterent to those bad-minded enough to want to commit an act of terrorism and that anyone who wanted to could just buy some of the small, labelled bottles, get rid of the contents and replace them with what they like and a bit of scent and the attendants would be none the wiser, they still weren't having it and made her leave all her toiletries behind.

Don't know who the flight is with, but it might be worth bringing shop-filled minis for the type of jobsworth who was heard just minutes before saying 'That'll teach her' about another customer who had tried to stand her corner over something similar.

What a great, interesting discussion there is on here. For myself its a bit about believing the universe will provide and taking opportunities. I think its about taking bits from different things and finding what works for you. We are all unique and different.

Crafty. Hope you are feeling a bit better. Will have to look that book up.
