Sympathy to all who are feeling a bit down for whatever reason.
My challenge is going well, no time for exercise although it is much needed, will have to fit that in once the christening is over.
Yesterday I made piccalilli, not strictly necessary for a buffet but it is nice with pork pie & ham. In the midst of that I had to break off & reassure DD2 who had managed to make herself almost hysterical over some imagined health problem. I could reassure her that it was extremely unlikely and that she was perfectly well just insane.

Today's item on the culinary timetable is vegetarian sausage rolls (the name sounds awful but they are made with cheese so probably taste good) hopefully without drama.

I have a disc out at he bottom of my spine which sits on the siatic nerve and irritates my hip if i do anything too strenuous. Theres nothing they can do about it, only the injections.

My mum had a disc doing similar and had back surgery to "nibble" away at the bit putting pressure on the siatic nerve.

You have my sympathies - I find back pain right up there next to toothache, even labour was a breeze compared to these!

I really hope so. I even logged on hoping for news when I let the dog out at 3am. If anyone can get a happy ending here, MG can :)

  • I wonder if TalkTalk, or the mentors (and why do I always think of Harry Potter and the dementors when I hear this), or school is keeping MG away today???

Infact, I am still waiting for Marru's list :-D

EEEEPPP - what list :o Oh you mean the Luton van full of books that we just took into the storage during the weekend with my other [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] posessions.

I am only on page 72, don't know if I will ever catch you lot up as I won't have internet connection in the evenings for a while now.

Update on the housing situation: bungalow - reference agency has been ridiculous, long story but I am going to view another house tomorrow so fingers crossed that it will work for us better and that my application for that gets processed quicker (plus it is available immediately).

We are staying in a friendly guest house where we can use the kitchen. So we are living on Mr T's ready meals for now, not very MSE but better than eating out or having take away every evening.

I am loving my new job. I sort of ended up doing this career by accident (another long story) and after my career came crashing down (yet another long story) I never thought I could be so excited about it again. :j

    Oh I do hope so.
I know MG seems to be able to cope with anything, but she really does not need any more on her plate atm.
