(ours too :rotfl:)
So anyone who is prepared to go and collect promptly please let me know
I'm not too far from MK but couldn't get there until next weekend, is that any good?:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

I feel so sad for those of you who had Mum's that didn't care for you in the way that they should have done
I think you are incredible for realising how toxic they are and taking action against it. You are all so strong :T

Two year olds are so cute!!
Popped my little spider in bed - and then answered the phone to a very dear ex of mine telling me that one of our mates, actor Gerard Kelly died today of an anyurism.
He was only a few years older than me, the life of the party and a fitting carrier of the baton left by our dear old panto dames, Rikki Fulton and Walter Carr.
So sad - so sad.
Have a lovely evening

Bless little man!
It is very sad about Gerard Kelly MGAs the child of scottish parents I get really mad when they have english actors playing scottish parts with awful accents, and now there is one less real actor to go up for the parts. And so young..... Wish I had the chance to see him as a Dame, bet he was great
It is also the 2nd anyurism I have heard of this week in someone young :j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Goodness this has moved on fast today!
Re Mums, I had my differences with mine when I was growing up, but nothing like the problems some of you are talking about. Makes me really appreciate the extremely close relationship we have now. Thrifty - I'm glad you have managed to reach your conclusion on your course of action and that you are already feeling soothed by that decision.
Claire - wow! Wotta Lotta beads!:D You're going to have some fun with those!
Right then - 50 day challenge.
1) Ask the Universe for a copy of The Secret
2) Overhaul my wardrobe. Not exactly sure how I'm going to get on with this yet, but I think for a start it's going to involve getting rid of some of the suff that's really tired, or simply doesn't fit, and isn't likely to again. Also getting alterations done where needed.
3) Complete Logo & Leaflets for my new business idea. (And actually tell you lot what I'm planning. I have a couple of small jobs to do with it first but then I hope to feel "right" enough about it to tell all!)
4) Get at least three regular clients for my business.
5) Continue with the grocery challenge & eating healthily
6) Declutter, Declutter, DECLUTTER!!

Marru!! Try looking at UKCampsite for caravan places - you can do a search for just static caravans too, and the reviews are pretty reliable.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I think an evening of wine and old cast phoographs may be on the cards instead.
Have a lovely evening

You girls really are something special. Thank you for all your supportive comments.
This really is a fantastic thread.Firewalker wrote: »I am seriously impressed - it has been a long time since someone or something pleased me so much as hearing that you are studying Ancient Greek to support an MA in Classical Studies. Admirable 50 days aim!

I signed up for it last autumn but for various reasons (some external some my own fault) I really struggled with it to the point that I withdrew.
The plan was that I would then start again at my own pace in the spring.thriftyscotslass wrote: »:T:T:T I think this is fantastic; I really do
Goes off, imagining Craftyscholar in flowing Grecian robes conversing with stunning young Greek God in impressive temple surroundings....
Will keep that picture in my mind to spur me on.0 -

Thank you! I found a friendly B&B that lets me use their kitchen for evening meals and is not ridiculously expensive and is around the corner where I am hoping to settle. I booked just for 5 days as I have a place for the weekend. Will have a look at this as I will still have at least one week to go.
I shall participate properly after this madness is finished and I am relaxing in my new job :rotfl:(Considering how they grilled me in the interview somehow I don't think it is going to be that relaxing but it is my dream job in the end of the day - well dream job in this field)
Need to get some shut eye. Night night."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
